Good state park continually improving. Building fishing pond from gravel pits adding to pool, bike paths, shelters, working pioneer farm. Private pull-through exceptionally well laid out. 110 outlet circuit breaker was bad and after calling them was replaced within 30 minutes, great customer service. They are anal about parking on the grass but large as the camp sites are there is no need to. I was concerned about the playground area bike path being hidden by trees as riders approach the road, a blind spot exists and suggested it get mowed back last year to no avail. A reluctance to trim out sucker type plants from the evergreens and shade trees is troubling. Blacktop or concrete patios would be nice. The gravel sucks.

Weekend stay (Fri through Monday ) at what was billed as a pull-through, but really short and close. Parked my truck in a position the night before leaving to assure clearance getting out next AM. Not even a decent stopover. Overpriced and way too crowded, slumlord of a campground. Trash overflowing before being emptied. I liken it to camping in a Camping World parking lot.

Great stop off I65. Easy in/out. Wonderful customer service and even filled my LP tank.

1st site (b39) terrible but staff was great in changing us to c45 which was full hookup. 1st site electric only. New sites just installed were obviously engineered by a non rv camper, big mistake on what should have been a big plus for the park. Sites length at least 20' too short for average rv and toad or pickup pulling a trailer. This makes everyone park on the grass so when park is full all you see is vehicles and RVs. So much for green space. Another faux Pau was the 4" steel pipe labeled "clean out". This required a doughnut adapter vs the threaded PVC fitting most Campgrounds use. Advised park staff of this botched job. Nice park and mamas grill is excellent for food and wifi which we could not get at the park with Sprint service.

WiFi nonexistent. For the high price for no sewer hookup makes this a place needing stronger Mgt. DirecTV not available unless you move to the field-like campground. Nice kids park, no effort to remedy WiFi issue. Asked them to follow up and not confident this will happen. 50 amp good, cell phone reception good, level gravel sites. Location good with Columbus within 10 minutes.

Kudos to an excellent customer service operation. Barb gave me more information than I believe I've ever gotten when checking in, Cpgrd map, Tv listing, wifi info, area points of interest with restaurants included. Nice to see how a well run Campground is run, must be owner operated. Site level, power good, water pressure tremendous. Thanks for a nice stop.

Very well set up for each site to enjoy its privacy. Directv easy to set up. Well kept, full hookup, great bike trails and pool for kids. Very level, hookups convenient to connect. One of Indiana's best State Parks. TC's restaurant in Battle Ground a can't miss.

Blacktop everywhere, no dust, well kept, kid friendly, lots going on for kids, nice pool, easy in and to site, cable tv, SW for satellite no issue, sewer too far back from other hookups, Great find, close to many day excursions as well.

Hosts very nice, helpful on places to eat, area hot spots, and general information. Exceptional access off I-90. Within 1/2 mile of exit. Good Sam club member. Pull-through site close quarters, and ours had a "shared" sewer. 1st for me. Had to dump as needed and the site next to us did the same thing into the same sewer connection. Site wet from rains in area, stayed wet for stay. Wi-Fi excellent. Gravel drive and sites Pool not open when arriving, opened next day but level was 6" below recirculating returns so floating debris stayed in pool. Only 5 deck chairs and no shade, which may have been due to it being the 1st day of summer and pool had not been used for the season. Water line broke to campground and was repaired later that day. Over 75% were permanent sites. If DirecTV line of site important need to state up front, most sites are in shady area. Not a bad overnight, extended stay not so much if pool is important.

Based on no internet at sites, dirty pool, tight sites back to back and very close side to side. Nice clean showers, level sites, good location of utilities, location to falls, kid friendly, and general cleanliness; nice if phone and internet not important. We put a significant priority on this so key to rating. Also noted gate leaving malfunctioning so guests inconvenienced.

As good as I have seen, roomy sites a big plus. Did a pull-through which was exceptionally long. Cable good, phone service good, internet spotty, hosts exemplary, bingo night well run, dinner/dance night very smoothly operated, maintenance well attended to, quarry interesting, breakfast in town reasonable and close, even rode bicycle to it, a great campground. Day trips abound, Gainesville, Cedar Key, Ocala, and many others.

Stayed in upper campground due to pool availability for grand kids. Pool clean but not an Olympic size pool as stated in brochure. Appears to be more of an overnight stop for 3 gambling boats near the grounds. Showers had a bench with screws extending out from bench; notified office and repaired right away. Was hoping for more campground activities, the but pool was it during the week. Made the place our base for zoo in Cincinnati and Aquarium in Newport Ky. Great places I might add. Pull through sites nice, Wi-Fi was good, kids games in clubhouse all cost money.

Easy on/off from 65. Passport rate was $23 cash only; IRS please note. Envelopes for those checking in had the rate at $37 so not thinking the 50% rate being given to Passport America members. Seems like my rate should have been $18.50 by my calculations. But I was never good in math. Ate at the Franklin steakhouse in Franklin (converted waffle house) and it was an excellent meal for the price. The rib eye very good. Will look for another Passport America spot next time.

Hosts and owners friendly and quite helpful. Ate at Cheddars in Valdosta a decent meal for fair price. Easy in/out only 2 miles from I75. Very nice looking town/friendly and clean. WiFi sucked in fact never did get on line. Great overnight stop and passport america campground.

We found this park a wonderful experience and highly recommend it. 1st site too small for our 40' 5th wheel but the park attendants were great in putting us in a different site. Great views of the water from several sites. Cafe within 5 minutes going north on a1a, good meal and reasonable. Sweet Tomatoes pizzeria in west Melbourne also worth a visit. UDT museum and Mel Fishers museums great stops nearby.
