Bay Hide Away RV Park & Campground, Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

As always this campground holds it's high standards. Lots of rain so there is a bit of standing water in places (who controls the rain?) Sites are level, wide and large enough for parking our toad. Fabulous pool, the grounds are kept neat and tidy. The clubhouse is open for everyone's use, and always clean and neat. The owners are very helpful. We will return for sure. We camped at Bay Hide Away RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Bay Hide Away RV Park & Campground, Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for the winter, and it is as it always is, almost perfect. Great activities, trips, and cookouts put on by the owners. Super place to "snowbird" for the winter. Clubhouse and pavilion are extra nice, and the laundry and bathrooms are spotless. Super nice owners, and the people that come here every year are great folks......highly recommended. We camped at Bay Hide Away RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Sky High Camping Resort, Portage, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stay here every year on our way home to Minnesota from Mississippi. Last year it had rained a lot and the place was just a gigantic mud hole. I was told that they were going to do a lot of landscaping over the next year and it would not be like this ever again...wrong!!! I decided to give a try this year on our way home to see how much progress was made. The place has gotten worse. It now is just as rough, pot holes, dirt (not gravel) roads, trash bags left at site, nobody around. Just a terrible place, and what makes it worse, they have the guts to charge $4o. for this mess. Never again. We camped at Sky High Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Bay Hide Away RV Park & Campground, Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Small, clean, and quiet, just what we like in campgrounds. The clubhouse has a large pavilion with a beautiful fireplace. Swimming pool is kept spotless, and the grounds are also spotless. Many activities in the clubhouse, many group activities off site with the owner, trips to New Orleans, art activities, and plenty of eating events. Lots of snowbirds during the winter so the place is like a little community with great people. Many golf courses in the area which I liked.....super place. We camped at Bay Hide Away RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice park, easy on and off I-55. Site were a little tight but great for over night stay. Host/owner was great with info and directions to site. I just wish they were open earlier and later in the season. We will be back if open. We camped at Double J Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

The rate cited reflects a monthly rate. We stay here every year for at least a couple months, and it gets better each time. Great owners, super host (he helps everyone with anything to do with RVs). The pool was super clean, as well as the bathrooms/showers. The grounds are immaculate. Cookouts and activities in the clubhouse all winter. We will be back. We camped at Bay Hide Away RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Jackson KOA, Jackson, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Friendly workers and staff. They have very large sites, lots of space between sites. Picnic table at each site. The pull-through sites are gravel, but level. Back in sites are concrete and nicely situated. I would have given it a higher rating except for the cost, pretty high, although KOA's seem to be over priced. We probably would not stay here again, there are less expensive parks in the area. We camped at Jackson KOA in a Motorhome.

Olson Park, Worthington, Minnesota

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This could be a very nice park. It is next to a very nice lake. Nice tree cover and nicely situated off the interstate. I gave it a low rating because of a few reasons. We never actually met anyone that worked at the park. The park was a complete "mud hole", dirt roads and sites. The road going into the park was a mess, large chuck holes, mud ankle deep. The actual park was in total disarray with a cleanup very necessary. I would not recommend this park at this time, maybe when the city gets it act together and cleans it up. We camped at Olson Park in a Motorhome.

TeePee Campground & RV Park, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a week while doing some touristy things in the Black Hills. It was a very basic park, no amenities. They had just put a bunch of new water piping in, and it was muddy in areas. The hook-ups were very oddly configured making it hard to hook up all things at once. The water and electric were usable at the same time, but the sewer hook up was about 20 feet in front of the water and electric. We had to use our tanks while there, and unhook and move forward to dump the tanks when we were ready to leave. The Wi-Fi did not work for us even though we were right next to the office. Although it was the cheapest we could find in the area, we really got what we paid for. Will look elsewhere next time. We camped at TeePee Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cedar Shore Resort, Oacoma, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park, very nice view of the Missouri River. The site was fairly level, and the hookups were nicely set-up. Lots of space between sites with a picnic table at each site. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel/resort and the meal was acceptable. We would stay here again. We camped at Cedar Shore Resort in a Motorhome.

New Frontier RV Park & Campground, Presho, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park for an overnight stay. There was no one working at the park - self check-in. The park seemed pretty well kept. I like to see people that work at the park, it gives a more secure feeling - thus the lower rating. We camped at New Frontier RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Our usual stop on our way home. Lots of rain in the area, so there was lots of mud, water, and mess. The sites are not very level, and the roads need some work, lots of potholes. OK stop for one night. We camped at Sky High Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Our usual stop on our way north. Love Lamberts, so have to stop. Only planned on one night, but stayed 4 nights because of weather up north on our path home. Nice folks, helpful.
