Shaded park with tight spaces. Lots of trees which makes maneuvering through campground tricky. Like most northern campground we've been to, it's pack em and stack em. The better sites have long stay campers. Sites are not level. Could be a nicer park if they got rid of every other site.

Date of Stay:

Only campground in the area. New place with large back to back pull thru. Your neighbor is very close. Amusement park near by but didn't go. Newly planted trees provide no shade. Few cable channels and good WiFi.

Date of Stay:

We used this park to visit Bar Harbor and surrounding area. Sites had plenty room between neighbors but pretty close neighbors behind you. Shuttle bus passes through campground. Store had lobster if you wanted to cook your own. We would stay again if in the area.

Park was ok. We had a deluxe site with concrete patio which was nice because it rain. There was some small trees between sites for some privacy. Strange pull through back to back parking which put you real close to your neighbor. Some had slides maybe three feet from neighbors. Clean laundry and nice host. Wifi was week and cable tv was good till you got a back side neighbor.

Nice park in the process of being fixed up. Lots of shade trees. It didn't rain while we were there but if it did it would be a muddy mess. Big camp building if needed for a group gathering. Lots for kids to do with pool and game room. Friendly manager and camp host. We would stay again if in the area.

This is the Super KOA of Koa's. Very large park with lots of amenities. This is definitely a destination park. Train rides, pools, spa, store, fast foods, to mention some of the things. Park is very clean. Sites are rather close but they spread you out if they can. Downside is the laundry, machines in need of repairs. When told the drier don't work well we were told they were a little slow. Slow at my cost. Just minutes from the Canada border.

Nice park across a quiet street to Lake Michigan. Great views of the lake and Mackinaw bridge. Clean laundry and store with few RV supplies. Boat companies that go to Mac Island pick you up at campground. The people in the area call St Ignace the quiet side and I'd have to agree. We would stay here again if in the area.

Nice campground on a lake. Sites were very unlevel, had to use a 4x4 to get level from side to side. Mosquitoes were very bad and being from Louisiana, I know my mosquitoes. This could be a real nice park with a little money. We just did an overnight here.

One of the nicer KOA that we've stayed in. Close to the hwy so lots of noise but quiets down at night. Your picks of nice campgrounds with full hookups in the area are limited. About a 45 minute ride to Lake Itasca Park and the headwaters. Very nice and friendly host.

If you are using 30 amps the place isn't too bad. For bigger rigs with 50 amp you're put in a tight row that feels like a trailer park with long term rvs. I have to say they were real nice about returning your money once we decided not to stay.

Normal KOA park in need of attention. The roads and sites need gravel so it not such a mess when it rains, which it did while we were there. Nice host that guides you to your site. It's OK for an overnight.

Large COE park with nice lake. There are 10 full hookups with concrete pads but most are taken by long term folks. About 10 water/electric sites with gravel pads and the rest of the campground is just electric. There were a lot of camp hosts with nice sites. Narrow bridge crossing with construction right before you get to the park and a hard up hill right into the park if you are coming out of North Liberty.

Nice clean COE park with friendly host. Lots of room between sites. No sites are on or near the lake. We stayed here while visiting the town of Hannibal.

Nice COE park, with great view of a large lake. Large level sites. Short ride to the town of Hernando if supplies are needed.

Nice park but not really big rig friendly. Only nine 50 amp sites and host has one of them. Mater of fact camp host (at least 8) pretty much have control of park. Laundry facilities need improvements 3 washers and dryers and have to compete with camp host taking them all. Very tight spaces in the big rig area. Great for tent and smaller trailer with 30 amp service. No ATT & Sprint service but there is wi-fi at the camp store. Roads are in poor shape and narrow. With all the negativity it really is a nice place with a beautiful lake and we would stay again if in the area.
