Lake Fausse Pointe State Park, Saint Martinville, Louisiana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to stay. Lots of activities to do with kids. Canoeing, kayaking, fishing, bike riding, etc.. Stayed for the 4th of July weekend. Grounds could be a little neater. Kids said the trails are rough (growing over). Splash park was out of service, not sure why. We had issues with the 30 amp service, had to borrow a 50/30 jumper. I love the place, out in the boonies!! No cell service, awesome!!! Like the old days!! We camped at Lake Fausse Pointe State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park, Kinder, Louisiana

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Shuttle bus passes about every 10 min. We loved the dream pool. Very nice park. Only reason I rated it an 8 was because there is no shade. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bayou Segnette State Park, Westwego, Louisiana

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Park ranger was a punk with a badge. We were the only people there and he is worried about my dog not being on a leash. This place would be so much nicer if it wasn't so close to New Orleans. There is nothing to do but peel shrimp. Probably won't be back. There are way to many other options! We camped at Bayou Segnette State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cajun Palms RV Resort, Henderson, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

They should rename this place "The Concrete Jungle." This is no campground, this is a resort. No shade, golf carts everywhere, staff was no help with curfew, or the kids and drunks on the golf carts. Hopefully, I never go back. We camped at Cajun Palms RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Clabough's Campground, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Did not spend much time at the campground, we were on vacation and were gone just about every day. We were right next to the playground which was nice for the kids. Not much traffic at night in the campground which was nice. After visiting there website I thought we would have a little more interaction with the staff. We only seen them when we checked in and we were there for seven nights. There are a few permanent residents. We camped at Clabough's Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Robert, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very, very, very over priced park. The ranger did not enforce quiet time. There are golf carts everywhere. The check in staff (teen age girls) were rude. The only reason we will return is because the kids loved the playground, canoeing, and mini golf. For 60 bucks a night they should at least have cable, clean restrooms, and some one to monitor the golf cart riders and to enforce quiet time. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.
