Roadrunner RV Resort, Red River, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This is by far the best RV park in Red River. We had a riverside site. The spring thaw had the river running swiftly. Sites are gravel and level. There is a large grass dog park. The park is graced with mountain views with the river running through. The gate is manned during daylight hours and a security code given for after hours. Escorts take you to your site and offer assistance with parking, if needed. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Quiet hours are enforced. There is ample space between most of the sites, which can accommodate the longest rigs. Wifi is not available at your site, but is available in the office. This did not bother us as Verizon hot spot worked fine. We were able to get satellite tv. The park has basic Directv via cable. Restrooms and showers were clean. We camped at Roadrunner RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is our fourth time staying here. This time we had a pull-through site. As usual, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The park is clean and safe. Management is efficient and helpful. The restrooms are spotless. The walking path at the perimeter of the park is perfect for walking the dogs. There is a dog park as well, but we didn't use it. The park is very convenient to all the attractions of Santa Fe without being in the crowded streets of town. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Devils Tower KOA, Devils Tower, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Located just outside the entrance to Devil's Tower. Sites and roads are gravel and quite dusty. The park is large with great views of the Tower. Sites are close together. The on site cafe has a very limited menu and high prices for what you get. Adequate for a one night stay. We camped at Devils Tower KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Sleepy Hollow RV Park, Wall, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice place to spend the night in Wall. Main St and Wall Drug are a short walk. Sites are gravel pull through with picnic tables and fire rings. Some sites have cable and sewer, some just water/electric. There is grass between sites. The grass dog park is huge compared to most parks. Very quiet at night. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sayre City Park Campground, Sayre, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

On the advice of friends, we stopped for an overnight. It had just rained and there was standing water on the gravel roads. The sites are long gravel pull throughs. Water pressure was good, but running AC and water heater kicked the 30 amp breaker. The restrooms were dirty, including the floors. One toilet in the Men's room was broken and filthy. We did not use the restrooms after inspecting. There was only one other RV in the entire park, so it was very quiet. There are large grass areas for dog walking or strolling. We camped at Sayre City Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

American RV Resort, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Our stay was for one night passing through NM. After-hours check in was easy as an envelope with our site number and directions was waiting in the box. The park is clean, safe and secure. Bathrooms were very clean and bright. There are grassy areas for dog walking. Cable worked well. We didn't use wifi but noted several towers in the park. We camped at American RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good option for RV parks in Moab. Although the spaces in our section were a bit short and close together, we made it work. Sites are gravel with grass between. There are picnic tables and fire rings. The restrooms and showered were older, but clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. The park was very busy during our stay but quiet. It was nice to be off the main highway. Downtown was a short drive away. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Travel Trailer.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We had stayed here before about 4 years ago. We were only passing through this time for one night, but called and were able to get a site. We had a nice pull through with great views of Santa Fe. There is a nice walking trail around the perimeter and desert landscaping throughout. The restrooms were spotless. Staff was friendly and attentive. We would stay here again without hesitation. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Durango Riverside Resort & RV Park, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

We really enjoyed our stay at this park. The park is all gravel and minor leveling was necessary on our riverfront site. The view of mountains and water was amazing, and the river was up due to the recent rains. The gravel roads held up very well considering the amount of rain received. The bathrooms were very clean. Staff was friendly, helpful and responsive. The park is very quiet at night and well off the highway. We had strong Verizon signal and had no problem with satellite TV reception. The park also has cable TV with many channels and a great picture. Although we did not use the heated pool, it is beautifully landscaped and maintained. Park is convenient to visit Silverton and Ouray as well as Durango. We would stay here again. We camped at Durango Riverside Resort & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Admiral Baker Field RV Park (Military FamCamp) , San Diego, California

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

As others have stated, this park is ver convenient to San Diego attractions. The rate of $42 is the non-military price. The sites are gravel with a concrete pad. The interior road is somewhat narrow and tow vehicle is in the road during set up and exit. The sites are fairly close together, but quiet. There is a large common area with grass and covered tables. Each site also has a table. We would stay here again. We camped at Admiral Baker Field RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Travel Trailer.

Wahweap RV and Campground, Page, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

What a great spot! The sites are paved, level and spacious. The restrooms are spotless and modern. Staff friendly and helpful. The views are fabulous. The lakeshore is within walking distance. There is a nicely stocked store on site. Town of Page is nearby and has Safeway and Super Walmart, as well as fast food and other restaurants. Hwy 89 is out due to a landslide. The detour adds about 50 miles to the trip from the south. We camped at Wahweap RV and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Atlanta State Park, Atlanta, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here overnight on the way home to Houston. The park is very quiet and has towering pine trees for shade. We were in a pull through with full hookups. The park was not crowded on a Monday night. The lake is walking distance from the campsites and was peaceful and pretty. We would stay here again. We camped at Atlanta State Park in a Travel Trailer.
