Klamath Falls KOA, Klamath Falls, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Convenient location in Klamath Falls. We were guided to our long pull through site which had a patio with table. This is the premium site in the park. Park is clean and neat. Restrooms were clean, as was the laundry. There is a walking trail right outside the park. Park was full on a weekend night, but was quiet at night. Gas, propane and a small store on the premises. We would stay again when passing through the area. We camped at Klamath Falls KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Gold Dust West Carson City RV Park, Carson City, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are very close together. Outside space is pretty much unusable if you have a neighbor. Pull-through sites aren't long enough, so we had to unhook and park on an angle. Restrooms were very clean and spacious. 'Dog Walk' was pathetic and consisted of urine-soaked, stinky dirt in a tiny run. No way I'd let my dogs near it. There aren't good dog walking options in and around the park. Check-in is at the casino hotel. We camped at Gold Dust West Carson City RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lincoln City KOA, Otis, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Well-kept park with nice sites. We had a full-hookup back-in with grass yard in back and side. Our site was spacious with plenty of room for slides. Sites include a picnic table and fire ring. Cable and WiFi worked well. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is available daily on site, with an extensive menu and reasonable prices. The park was full over the weekend, but quiet at night. It's an easy drive into Lincoln City and the beaches. We camped at Lincoln City KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Packwood RV Park and Campground, Packwood, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Pros: This is the closest full-hookup park to the east entrance to Mt Ranier National Park. Our site was long and level, mostly grass with some gravel. The WiFi was fast and dependable, the best we've ever experienced in an rv park. We had ample room because they were placing folks in every other site. Walking the dogs was pleasant, as most of the park was empty. Our site was shady. Cons: Everything in the park is old and not well-maintained. There were a few rotting picnic tables scattered about, but none at our site. The grounds and out-buildings need to be decluttered and spruced up. However, the entire town of Packwood has the same feel. There is no cable and no tv, and satellite couldn't get a signal due to thick trees. Overall, we would stay here again. It is a base camp, not a destination. We camped at Packwood RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Wine Country RV Park, Prosser, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Wine Country is a very nice park, very close to all area wineries. Sites are mostly pull-through, with back-ins around the perimeter. Our site had concrete with grassy area. Sites are roomy. Interior roads are in excellent condition and easy to navigate. Wine tastings from nearby wineries were held at the park on Thursday, Friday and Saturday for a small fee. Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi worked most of the time. There is a gravel path around the perimeter for dog walking. Overall a great place to stay. We camped at Wine Country RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Boise Riverside RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The park is conveniently located to downtown Boise and a good base for exploring the area. Sites and roads are gravel, with a small concrete or grassy patio. Our site was level and clean. The park is adjacent to the Boise River Greenway which is great for walking or biking. WiFi worked sporadically. Laundry was clean and had ample machines. The rows with the nightly sites were all neat but some long-term sites were cluttered. Overall, a good option in Boise. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Salt Lake City KOA, Salt Lake City, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

As stated by others, this park is very convenient to downtown Salt Lake, located on one of the main thoroughfares. It's a huge park, with many permanent residents. However, sites are kept neat and uncluttered. Our site was a level pull-through asphalt pad with a concrete patio and a picnic table. Grounds are clean, with manicured grass. WiFi worked great. Laundry was very clean. The restroom was clean, but the showers left something to be desired. They are very cramped and long hair all over the tile floor was a turn-off. Sites here don't come cheap, but the park was very busy. Interior roads were in good condition. We camped at Salt Lake City KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Green River KOA, Green River, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good park for an overnight stay located just off I-70 in central Utah. Restrooms were clean, but a bit small, and the grounds are well-kept. Site was level dirt. Good space between sites, which are long enough to stay hitched up. We had a very long pull-through. There are grassy areas for dog walking. The park filled up with over-nighters. Management was friendly and efficient. We would stay again. We camped at Green River KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Point of Rocks RV Campground, Prescott, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Nicest park in the Prescott area. Sites are available for small units to big rigs. Check in was easy and park rules were clearly explained. Roads are in good shape and our site was level. Most folks were great about keeping to the 5 mph speed limit, so dust was kept to a minimum. Two walking trails lead directly from the campground and are great for walking the dogs or for a fun hike among the Granite Dells. Bathrooms are older, but clean. No issues with water, electric or getting satellite signal. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Roadrunner RV Resort, Red River, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This is by far the best RV park in Red River. We had a riverside site. The spring thaw had the river running swiftly. Sites are gravel and level. There is a large grass dog park. The park is graced with mountain views with the river running through. The gate is manned during daylight hours and a security code given for after hours. Escorts take you to your site and offer assistance with parking, if needed. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Quiet hours are enforced. There is ample space between most of the sites, which can accommodate the longest rigs. Wifi is not available at your site, but is available in the office. This did not bother us as Verizon hot spot worked fine. We were able to get satellite tv. The park has basic Directv via cable. Restrooms and showers were clean. We camped at Roadrunner RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is our fourth time staying here. This time we had a pull-through site. As usual, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The park is clean and safe. Management is efficient and helpful. The restrooms are spotless. The walking path at the perimeter of the park is perfect for walking the dogs. There is a dog park as well, but we didn't use it. The park is very convenient to all the attractions of Santa Fe without being in the crowded streets of town. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Located just outside the entrance to Devil's Tower. Sites and roads are gravel and quite dusty. The park is large with great views of the Tower. Sites are close together. The on site cafe has a very limited menu and high prices for what you get. Adequate for a one night stay. We camped at Devils Tower / Black Hills KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Sleepy Hollow RV Park, Wall, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice place to spend the night in Wall. Main St and Wall Drug are a short walk. Sites are gravel pull through with picnic tables and fire rings. Some sites have cable and sewer, some just water/electric. There is grass between sites. The grass dog park is huge compared to most parks. Very quiet at night.
