Great place for an overnight stop along I29. Easy on/off from the freeway but no road noise. Sites are shaded, long pull throughs. Grass areas for dog walking. Clean rest rooms. Friendly staff.

Located just outside the entrance to Devil's Tower. Sites and roads are gravel and quite dusty. The park is large with great views of the Tower. Sites are close together. The on site cafe has a very limited menu and high prices for what you get. Adequate for a one night stay.

A beautiful resort located conveniently to Rushmore, Crazy Horse and all the Black Hills attractions. Sites are located in different areas around a large meadow. Most are among tall pines with mountain views. Quiet at night.

Nice place to spend the night in Wall. Main St and Wall Drug are a short walk. Sites are gravel pull through with picnic tables and fire rings. Some sites have cable and sewer, some just water/electric. There is grass between sites. The grass dog park is huge compared to most parks. Very quiet at night.

Our second time to stay at Hickory Hill Campground. There are full hookups at this campground. The sites are back in and nicely spaced. A few are waterfront. Shade is abundant. All utilities worked well. Price includes $2 per day senior discount. There is no entry fee to the state park.

On the advice of friends, we stopped for an overnight. It had just rained and there was standing water on the gravel roads. The sites are long gravel pull throughs. Water pressure was good, but running AC and water heater kicked the 30 amp breaker. The restrooms were dirty, including the floors. One toilet in the Men's room was broken and filthy. We did not use the restrooms after inspecting. There was only one other RV in the entire park, so it was very quiet. There are large grass areas for dog walking or strolling.

Our stay was for one night passing through NM. After-hours check in was easy as an envelope with our site number and directions was waiting in the box. The park is clean, safe and secure. Bathrooms were very clean and bright. There are grassy areas for dog walking. Cable worked well. We didn't use wifi but noted several towers in the park.

This is a good option for RV parks in Moab. Although the spaces in our section were a bit short and close together, we made it work. Sites are gravel with grass between. There are picnic tables and fire rings. The restrooms and showered were older, but clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. The park was very busy during our stay but quiet. It was nice to be off the main highway. Downtown was a short drive away.

We had stayed here before about 4 years ago. We were only passing through this time for one night, but called and were able to get a site. We had a nice pull through with great views of Santa Fe. There is a nice walking trail around the perimeter and desert landscaping throughout. The restrooms were spotless. Staff was friendly and attentive. We would stay here again without hesitation.

We really enjoyed our stay at this park. The park is all gravel and minor leveling was necessary on our riverfront site. The view of mountains and water was amazing, and the river was up due to the recent rains. The gravel roads held up very well considering the amount of rain received. The bathrooms were very clean. Staff was friendly, helpful and responsive. The park is very quiet at night and well off the highway. We had strong Verizon signal and had no problem with satellite TV reception. The park also has cable TV with many channels and a great picture. Although we did not use the heated pool, it is beautifully landscaped and maintained. Park is convenient to visit Silverton and Ouray as well as Durango. We would stay here again.

As others have stated, this park is ver convenient to San Diego attractions. The rate of $42 is the non-military price. The sites are gravel with a concrete pad. The interior road is somewhat narrow and tow vehicle is in the road during set up and exit. The sites are fairly close together, but quiet. There is a large common area with grass and covered tables. Each site also has a table. We would stay here again.

What a great spot! The sites are paved, level and spacious. The restrooms are spotless and modern. Staff friendly and helpful. The views are fabulous. The lakeshore is within walking distance. There is a nicely stocked store on site. Town of Page is nearby and has Safeway and Super Walmart, as well as fast food and other restaurants. Hwy 89 is out due to a landslide. The detour adds about 50 miles to the trip from the south.

We stayed here overnight on the way home to Houston. The park is very quiet and has towering pine trees for shade. We were in a pull through with full hookups. The park was not crowded on a Monday night. The lake is walking distance from the campsites and was peaceful and pretty. We would stay here again.

Park is very convenient to Opryland attractions and Grand Ole Opry. We were given lots of tourist information upon check-in, including coupons. Gravel roads and sites. We had to do some leveling. Dog walk area in the front. We were there during the record heat and shade is at a premium on most sites.

This is a pretty nice state park campground. We had full hookups in site 22. Great majority of the sites have no sewer. Shade trees are abundant. Water hookups are a distance and a long hose is needed. The park was quiet and clean. Store on site is handy for snacks or drinks. Park is convenient to I-75 and a quick trip into Lexington. We never could get a satellite signal on Directv.
