Fernley RV Park, Fernley, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Nice quiet little park. Sites were a little tight for our coach and tow. Pet area was a small patch of grass but there was plenty of room to walk your dogs. Management was friendly. We would stay here again. Cable and free Wi-Fi. We camped at Fernley RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain Gate RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Spent 2 nights at this park. Site was tight for our coach and tow. The park is close to the freeway but noise wasn't a problem. It's close to Lake Shasta and the dam. Wi-Fi and cable were great there were even a couple movie channels. We would stay here again. We camped at Mountain Gate RV Park in a Motorhome.

Auburn Gold Country RV Park, Auburn, California

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $42.00

Stopped overnight. Sites weren't level and pet walk is just a strip of tall grass. Management was nice but we didn't use the facilities. No cable but we did get TV channels with the antenna. Wi-Fi had a good signal and free. We camped at Auburn Gold Country RV Park in a Motorhome.

Reno KOA at Boomtown, Verdi, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a large park with lots of choices. The sites are a little tight and unlevel. It's not a destination place but a nice rest stop in your travels. Management was nice and we didn't use the facilities. Close to Reno but outside of the city. We camped at Reno KOA at Boomtown in a Motorhome.

Tonopah Station RV Park, Tonopah, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

It's just a parking lot with FHU. However it's a great place to stop between Las Vegas and Reno or Fernley. The cafe inside the small casino had good food. We would stay here again. No cable but excellent Wi-Fi. We camped at Tonopah Station RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hitchin' Post RV Park & Motel, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for a little over a month. The rate reflects nightly but the monthly rate is much better. The facilities are very clean and the laundry room was large with plenty of washers and dryers. The park is on the north side of town away from the tourist traffic. The Saloon had just changed management but the old one was great. Didn't try the new one. Park is very pet friendly but they need larger dog runs. We camped at Hitchin' Post RV Park & Motel in a Motorhome.
