This park is located about 20 minutes from Zion National Park. We were parked along the perimeter of the park and it is quite a walk to the restroom/showers in the middle of the night with a five year old. Also, we were very surprised to learn that showers were $1.00 for 5 minutes. In two of the bathrooms we had difficulty with the machines taking our coins and had to scurry to other bathrooms dressed in our robes/towels. The operators were friendly and attentive, they took care to warn the residents of a forecast wind storm.

Only two of the showers were functional which caused some wait times to get cleaned up. These are located at the dunes and so it would be difficult to keep sand out of the showers (bring shower sandals). Sites are large and provide much privacy compared to the cramped sites of the cookie cutter resorts. Note: there is one site near the bathroom with hookups. Much ORV traffic, but quiet hours were respected.

We really enjoyed this quiet park. The owners/operators were very friendly and helpful, they provided us with information on several local cliff dwellings and historical sites. The bathrooms were extremely clean and a pleasure to use as the sinks and toilets are in the same room as the shower (not shared). The sites are gravel, covered, level, and large enough to configure the awning, picnic table, and parking to personal preference. One of the more pleasant campsites we've stayed at in southern Utah for the price.

This is our favorite campground in Utah. The operators treated us like old friends upon arrival and remembered us each time we stopped in the camp store. The bathrooms are awesome: shower, toilet, and sink in each (not shared) and are large and clean. Views to the east are fantastic. Location is south of Moab and about 20 minutes to Arches. We'll stay here again and again.
