Rate was 'Good Sam' for an overnight pull through space. This is the kind of privately owned campground I like to give business to. I concur with comments from the reviewer below adding that the owner is a friendly guy. Gift basket delivered to site, included salt water taffy, microwave popcorn, two packs of gourmet teas; even though we stayed for only one night on our way north. A nice touch showing our business was appreciated. 'Port and Starboard' restaurant within easy walking distance had excellent food at an excellent price.

Rate based on Good Sam and a one week stay, tax not included. Paved level pull-through sites with picnic tables and ample size width with grass in between. Heated clean pool and small spa. 120 clear cable T.V. channels. Super clean restrooms and showers. Well stocked General Store with great souvenir selections. If staying more then one night, I suggest touring the 'Avenue of the Giants' scenic byway that runs through Humboldt Redwoods State Park within fairly close proximity south of Highway 101. I also highly recommend a meal and an ale at the 'Eel River' organic micro-brewery within walking distance from the park.

Rate was Good Sam on concrete pull-through site with cable. A pleasant find on that long road between Vegas and Reno. Level concrete pads, clean restrooms/showers, friendly check-in guy, great rates that don't gouge you. On-site camp host in space #19 when office closes whose friendly and knowledgeable too. All hookups worked great. Park cable T.V channels clear. Nothing blocks satellite T.V. reception. We look forward to stopping here for a week next time (only pulled through this time one night) on our way back south at the end of summer as east entrance of Yosemite only 68 miles away and a 9 hole golf course nearby at Army Depot grounds IS open for public use.

Rate based on a 1-month stay. Daily and weekly stays are not charged for electric. I was charged for electric the amount charged by the power company. We stayed here on a 1 month overlay from our summer trip before heading to Yuma. Wonderful, clean heated pool and spa. The bathrooms/showers were cleaned daily. Excellent priced laundry facilities that have new machines. Great security with a guard gate and accompanied to site upon check-in. Full hookups worked fine. Front office staff friendly along with permanent residents which numbered few, also friendly. Big screen TV in comfortable rec-room. Having lived in Vegas for 28 years before full-timing, it is nice to have found a value park with amenities like this in Vegas that is run well. Free Wi-Fi works great with full bars.

Was gonna stay 2 nights, ended up staying 4. Park shows pride of ownership; a rarity these days. Couple that owns it bought it two years ago. They're friendly folks, too. Level well spaced sites with great WiFi and cable TV. Restrooms/showers are immaculate, well decorated, and laundry facilities very good. Heck, they even hang fly-traps by the dumpsters. When is the last time you've seen that! Will definitely be back.

Date of Stay:

Clean restrooms/showers. Management friendly. More then capable over nite spot. Believe they end their season near the end of Sept., given the weather.

Date of Stay:

Stayed 3 nights, bathrooms were never cleaned. At first inspection, they look satisfactory, but they are not. 4th generation owner acted indifferent. Don't arrive before 3:30 P.M., no one to check you in and she doesn't leave self-check-in instructions. On the upside, great Wi-Fi, hookups work well with one warning: High water pressure. Brochure states a warning of 120 P.S.I. on the high side but I believe it is even higher. Don Pedro's Mexican Restaurant within easy walking distance and is excellent.

Rate paid Good Sam. Easy access off interstate. Interstate noise acceptable. Wife is a light sleeper, she slept well. Level sites. Clean bathrooms/showers. Good burgers/fries/ice cream (18 flavors) at gas station. Other services (Super Wal-Mart) at Newton less then 5 miles up the interstate next exit. Great prices all the way around. Would definitely stay again.

Date of Stay:

Great rates. Decent overnight park which we used it for. Small, but very clean pool and restrooms/showers. Level sites. Potable water has mineral smell, so use a filter. Lack of cable a drawback as has many treed sites making it difficult for fixed satellite. Owner okay but obsesses about driving on the grass, as he made it a point with the party checking in before us, and again, with us. Nothing nearby. Still deserves an '8'.

Date of Stay:

A wonderful RV park. Nice mixture of sites; some grass, others combination of gravel and grass with paved interior roads that accommodate all classes of RV's. Staff accompanies you to your site. Hookups work fine with 'Culligan soft water'. Bathrooms/Showers very clean. Most sites well spaced with most fire rings spaced with safety in mind. Ex full time RV'ers own the park and it shows. Well maintained. Nice walking trails along the 'White River' with a clean swimming pond. Stores (Super Wal-Mart), good restaurants (namely 'Texas Roadhouse/Bob Evans/Olive Garden) nearby, and the Colts training camp a couple of miles up the road if you are here the first half of August. Rate based on weekly rate.

Friendly owners. Very family oriented park as swimming at the pond has a lifeguard on duty and a snack bar with great prices and good soft serve ice cream. Hookups worked fine and sites fairly level were a combination of grass and gravel. Liked the fact that seasonals are well separated from weekend/pull through campers. Bathrooms/showers need remodeling but were acceptably clean. Fire rings are placed too close for comfort at some sites. We stayed here three nights on our way heading back west. Would definitely stay again.

Date of Stay:

Nightly rate based on 1 month stay. Stayed 3 weeks in the lower terraced section and 1 week in the upper section. Prefer the lower section as it is next to impossible to get satellite reception in the upper due to multitude of trees. (No cable in park). Bathrooms and showers are spotless and roomy. Owners are mellow and friendly. Peaceful setting and quiet as no kids under 16 are allowed. All hookups worked great. If visiting the PA Dutch Country, this park is in the heart of it and the place to be. Would return in future if near this area again.

Rate based on Good Sam discount combined with Good Sam recently instituted $5 off coupon. Pulled through here one night. Pull through spots on grass near restrooms/showers and pool. No individual sewer but looked like easy main dump access nearby pull through spots. Very large pool looked well maintained as did the rest of the park. Permanent campers near pull thrus are very friendly, mostly union pipe fitters and families. Guy at desk had never seen above mentioned coupon before but did honor it, tho' didn't seem to like it much. Might have stayed here one week but had reservations upstate and if they had dumps at site, as nice park and location.

Date of Stay:

Overnighted here. Easy access off the interstate. Pull throughs are fairly level. Water pressure is high. The guy in the office was nice. Great Wi-Fi reception. Far enough behind the Pilot so truck noise is very minimal. Would stay here again. Price paid was 'Good Sam' rate.

Date of Stay:

A delightful park with a unique personality. Has an upper level and lower level. Choose the lower level as it puts you smack on the banks of the Ohio River where you can kick back and watch the barge traffic. Each spot has a fire ring and picnic table. 5 mins. away from a downstream riverboat casino with a pristine 18 hole Scottish themed golf course and 15 mins. away from a Wal-Mart in nearby Aurora, or 7 mins. away from an IGA in Rising Sun. Quaint Indiana river towns worth exploring with very friendly locals. Office employees friendly whom even called us when an expected mail packet arrived. Free Wi-Fi with periodic but short intermittent reception delays. Large spaces, even the back-in spots; with grass between them. No cable but didn't miss it as this setting more then makes up for it. Deserves the '10' I'm giving it. Nightly rate based on a one week stay.
