Owassa Lakeside RV Park, Evergreen, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Plain Jane RV park, but fine for overnight stay. 1 mile from Interstate 65. Would stay here again if passing through, because it is easy to find from the interstate, also it accepts Passport America. All pull-throughs so not necessary to unhook toad. Interior roads very rough and lots of potholes. Old RV park that needs some loving care. No wifi or cable TV but we have satellite so that was no problem for us. Not a place for a vacation but OK for overnight parking. Has a fishing pond. We camped at Owassa Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Coral Sands Oceanfront Resort, Ormond Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

If you want to be directly on the beach, this is your place! Previous reviews are very accurate. Small sites, weak electric power. Best sites are oceanfront, we were told they were only 35 foot long so we couldn't stay in one. Looking out today there are four big rigs parked oceanfront. Go figure that out. Best part is full access to the next door hotel, pool, sun deck, lobby, etc. Very nice beach, hard sand for walking and bike-riding. We'd come back here again and make sure to stay oceanfront. We camped at Coral Sands Oceanfront Resort in a Motorhome.

This is an excellent, top-notch RV resort. Has paved roads, cement pads, and landscaping at each site. Very pleasant place to stay. Very big-rig friendly! Near I-95 but no road noise. We camped at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lansing Cottonwood Campground, Lansing, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Spaces we were put in not level, too small for 36' motorhome, way too close to neighbors. Not suitable for big rigs, dirt roads very poor, lot of potholes. Without a doubt we'd never stay here again. We camped at Lansing Cottonwood Campground in a Motorhome.

Arrowheads Campsites & MHP, Inc., Ocala, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here for one night to use the Passport America discount. The parks regular rate is $36, however, if you use the PA they raise the rate to $46 per night. We paid $26 which is not 50% off. I feel tricked! Would not stay here again. We camped at Arrowheads Campsites & MHP, Inc. in a Motorhome.

Not many frills but one block to the stunning beach. Very clean gravel sites, but can be hard to get into. No trees for shade. Managers are very friendly and helpful. If you want to be near the beach, this is the place. We camped at Le Sage Riviera RV Park in a Motorhome.

Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground, Buellton, California

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

The nicest park so far in our two month trip across the U.S. The grounds are immaculate, beautiful thick, green grass at each site. Lovely flowers. Very quiet at all times, even though the park was fairly full. Location was great in the Santa Ynez Valley. Valley Transit bus stop right there to tour the Valley. Look forward to staying at Flying Flags again. We camped at Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.
