Buena Vista KOA, Buena Vista, Colorado

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Amazing location overlooking a couple mountain ranges. The camp really wasn't open, they did us a favor by letting us stay which we appreciate. Great people! The camp store is quaint with all the basics. The WiFi worked well and the electric was good. Great place! We camped at Buena Vista KOA in a Motorhome.

Indianapolis KOA, Greenfield, Indiana

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $100.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in one of their new lodges since our RV was being serviced. These were great! The camp was clean, the WiFi worked well, and the landscaping (while early in the season) was very nice. We'll be back! We camped at Indianapolis KOA in a Campground Cabin.

This was a brief stop for us. At $65/ night, I'm glad it was. There are other alternatives in this area which we'll be using in the future. We camped at Nashville KOA in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park - Knightstown, Knightstown, Indiana

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is an "ok" place. We were in what I believe was their "deluxe" site, but that just meant it was a pull-through with full hook-up. There were only a few of these. The lake would have been nice if cleaner. There was quite a bit of highway noise from I-70. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park - Knightstown in a Motorhome.

Alum Creek State Park, Delaware, Ohio

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This place could be so much nicer: but since it is a State Park, that will never happen. The sites are "ok" the plus here is that you are near Alum Creek. Rangers harass you about petty things (like having a tire on the grass). It's great to see tax dollars hard at work! The layout could be better as larger rigs could have issues. "Dog" people are separated into certain areas. Again, you are here to enjoy the lake, not the camp. We camped at Alum Creek State Park in a Motorhome.

Shelby / Mansfield KOA, Shelby, Ohio

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $160.00
Overall Rating:

We only stayed 1 night, but would like to come back. There were a lot of activities for the kids and a good little restaurant inside the camp. The lodge/cabin we stayed in could use some updating. The park would have been rated higher if they were in a little better condition. We camped at Shelby / Mansfield KOA in a Campground Cabin.
