We chose this campsite as a base for our activities in the area (Dollywood, etc.). It is far enough from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to avoid the crowds, and this can be both good and bad. If you making a daily trip to either of these towns, the miles add up. However, the campground is very close to some outstanding hiking. This is a clean, exceptionally well-managed campground. The owners are friendly and helpful. When the camp store was out of bleach for our laundry, the owner gave me a gallon from her home. The gravel sites are spacious and shady, but it was a little tough to level the RV. The restrooms and laundry room are spotless. There is a nice little play area for the kids, including a small basketball court which my kids loved. We are glad we stayed. We hope to return.

It is a clean, shady park with spacious sites and friendly owners. My kids had a great time meeting the owners and full-timers (and their pets), and exploring the campground. There is a nice pavilion with a stone fireplace which was quite nice in the cool mornings and evenings. The owners put on a dinner one night and I think most of the campground was there...we had a great time meeting people. Level, concrete pads were a nice plus. It is a great campground. We can't wait to go back.
