This campground is out in the woods. No phone service, no wi-fi. The family that owns the campground are some of the nicest people I have ever met. To get to the part of the campground to set up camp you have to go over a very small concrete bridge. Very scary. I'm not sure if they were aware of how much we weigh or how much the bride would hold. If you are looking to get away were no one can find you this is the place. If you need to stay in touch with friends and family keep moving. The pool is an above ground pool. I don't suggest large rigs. Sites are not big enough and the bridge.

Staff very friendly and nice. This campground has everything you can think of. For the golfers it has a par 3 golf course. The sites are nice and big. Grass between every site. The laundry room could use some help but other then that it was great.

The office staff was very nice and helpful. The sites are a little close but are back to back. The wireless internet was free and worked nice. All the sites did not have pic nic tables, ours being one of them. We were told they are putting in cable. Close to the exit but far enough away you don't have highway noise. I would stay again.

This was the cleanest campground I have seen. The people are great. The sites are big. Free wireless. Close to the Precious Moments Museum. I would stay here any time.

The people at the check-in counter were nice and helpful. They escorted us to our site. I was disappointed that they didn't have cable but that was my fault for not reading. The Wi-Fi worked great. We were close to the road and it sounded like the race track was outside every night. If you stay ask for a site away from the entrance. We needed to get to downtown Charlotte every day for classes and the location worked for us.

Our stay at Bear Creek was very nice. The management was very welcoming and friendly. We stayed for one week and will stay here whenever we come to Asheville. The sites are all paved and the grounds are clean. It is also located close to everything. Nice mountain views.

My understanding is the old manager has changed jobs and they have a person filling in until a new manager can be hired. If the lady filling in hires a new manager like her this campground want stay open much longer. The campground is clean, nice sites , & great views but I won't pay this much money to feel like I'm bothering her. The office is locked most of the time, if anyone is even there. I will not stay here again unless the management changes.
