Beacon Hill Campground (Ages16+), Intercourse, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

In August 2015 I wrote a review that missed the mark. I gave 4-1/2 stars instead of what should have been 5! I must have been in a bad mood because as far as I'm concerned this place is Heaven in every way! I used to stay one week a year. This year I am looking so forward to THREE weeks here in my favorite spot. Even doing laundry doesn't bother me in their sparkling clean laundry room. We camped at Beacon Hill Campground (Ages16+) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Go to Lapp's Dairy for ice cream. Although they sell at many outlets, the farm experience can't be beat.

Beacon Hill Campground (Ages16+), Intercourse, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

I was a little bit disappointed with the appearance of the place since the new owners took over. The problem is that they are a little lax in keeping the rules in place. We were uncomfortable with the many cars allowed to park on the grass. It was obvious people had pit fires by the burn marks. The gravel areas had weeds. I may seem picky but I want to see this place return to perfection. We WILL return. We camped at Beacon Hill Campground (Ages16+) in a Motorhome.

Newfound RV Park, Bristol, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We could not have been more pleased. The new owners cannot be more pleasant. They are delightful. The sites are level and easy pull-throughs. The restrooms and laundry are immaculate and the grounds are kept to perfection. PA rate used. Would definitely return if we come back to New Hampshire. We camped at Newfound RV Park in a Motorhome.

St. John's RV Park, St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

This site was fine and gave us the opportunity to take our tow vehicle into St. Augustine and see the sites. But am I the only one that finds flea markets like this terribly depressing??!! Some of the sites (such as the one we were put on) are grass. Used Passport America rates. We camped at St. John's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Kiki RV Park, Kingsland, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $20.00

This is a perfectly fine place to just spend one night passing through. Clean spots. Note, however, this certainly not "scenic." Right behind a Raceway gas station and is run by an Econo Lodge. But with the Passport America rate, was just fine. We camped at Kiki RV Park in a Motorhome.

Kamper's Lodge Campground, Wilson, North Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed out stay very much. The only problem was that it was quite far off Route 95 - thus the PA rate was important. Very clean and such nice people running the facility. The donkeys on site were an added piece of fun. Easy set-up. We camped at Kamper's Lodge Campground in a Motorhome.

Comfort Inn RV Park, Saint George, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Okay, the location is not great, but we loved that you could pick your own spot. There is only one pull-through spot (which was taken). Note that all do not have 50 amp service. Also, if train noise bothers you, then this is not the spot for you. However, we would stay here again. We used Passport America on our stay. Were it not for PA, we would not have picked this site. It is good for just passing through. It is to the rear of the Comfort Inn. We camped at Comfort Inn RV Park in a Motorhome.
