Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage, Florence, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We really enjoyed this park. Rate paid based on monthly fee. Very quiet and low key. Lots of concrete but surprisingly felt good (in contrast with shrubs and greenery in town). You are in a world of your own and it just feels good. We were booked for a month but had to leave early because of a family emergency. Owners were very nice and refunded part of our prepaid fee. We would recommend his park for our retired friends. We camped at Pacific Pines RV Park & Storage in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Old town Florence is cool. They have a Mo's restaurant and lots of cool shops. Try a sand dune tour ride and don't miss a drive up the coast to Newport and Depoe Bay. You will drive right by Sea Lion Caves.

Chula Vista RV Resort, Chula Vista, California

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Nicely ran park, well cared for and clean. Good security, we felt very safe. City park between our site and the bay but it was fun to watch the people and they close the park at night, so no noise problems. Fun to walk to marina or the park. Park had a couple events while we were there and they were fun. We stayed a month and really enjoyed exploring San Diego. Only issue were some ants that found the their way inside. We camped at Chula Vista RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Old town is always fun. We drove up to San Juan Capistrano one day and really enjoyed it. Sycuan Casino was good to us and don't miss the Horn Blower Bay Cruise.

WillowWind RV Park, Hurricane, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park for our month long stay to explore the area. Per day price based on $395 monthly fee. We also paid about $66 for electricity used. We rate this as one of the best parks we have stayed at. Very neat and clean. They were working on the back section of the park but it did not bother us. Some work on a site near us but that should be expected if they are to keep a park in this good of condition. Don't let its location in town keep you from using this park. There was no city noise or traffic issues and there is a grocery store and fast food within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area. We camped at WillowWind RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We visited Zion, North rim Grand Canyon, Bryce, Cedar Breaks, lake Powel, Kolob Canyon and other scenic locations in the area. Especially liked hiking the Narows in Zion. Also short drive to Mesquite NV if you like the casinos and there is great shopping in St George.

Square Dance Center and Campground, Lolo, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here twice going to and from Glacier National Park. Both stays were great. Lots of trees with good cable TV and Verizon cell service. Friendly staff. On our second stay I forgot my surge protector, I called them and they went and found it for me. He was great to work with and is sending it to me UPS. Can't thank him enough. Really enjoyed this park and highly recommend it.

Sewer at some sites, we were just overnighting so had a good drive through spot without sewer. Handy dump station if you need it. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

North American RV Park & Yurt Village, Coram, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

We just spent a month here and it was a great park to use as a base to explore Glacier Park and the surrounding area. The only complaint might be there was just not enough rest room facilities. The park is set in a forested area but was very handy to all the places we travelled to explore the area. We got good over the air TV and good satillite reception. Park Wifi and Verizon cell signal were weak but did work. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a great little store next to the park. They have everything and really good prices. Also don't miss having huckleberry pie at the Huckleberry Patch down in Hungry Horse. We also enjoyed the Zip line and a raft trip.

OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Off the main road and nice quiet park. Friendly staff, dated but clean restroom and shower. Sites on slight hillside so not level. All in all with Passport America price this was a pretty good park. We liked it a lot and would definitely stay here again. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Fifth Wheel.

Candy Beach Camoground (formerly The Lazy K RV Park), Lovelock, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Where to begin? This place has so much potential. However, it needs lots of tender loving care. OK stop for overnight but no on site manager so you have to call a phone number and check yourself in. Everything is dated and kind of run down but we would stay here again. About half the spots taken by long term campers. Good cable TV, no WIFI. Most available spots were pull through. Gravel roads and spots, but pretty level. Lots of shade trees. A little overpriced for what it is. We camped at Candy Beach Camoground (formerly The Lazy K RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park, Pendleton, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Best part of this park was the great free WIFI. Rest of park was just OK but nothing special. No cable but good antenna reception. Free transportation to Casino but we walked over. They have added onto the Casino since we last stopped by. No luck at the Casino and the park is not really great enough to stay there again. If the park was nicer or the rate was a better value we would stop again. We camped at Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Premier RV Resort of Lincoln City Oregon, Lincoln City, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Supper clean and nicely landscaped with lots of flowers. Only thing preventing a 10 rating is the iffy WIFI. WIFI worked but when too many people got on they just didn't evidently have the bandwith to support the park. A little tight when park filled up but we had a great ocean view spot and highly recommend this park if you want to stay in Lincoln City. Rate we paid reflected a special the company offered to past guest, for a 10 day visit during off season. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Lincoln City Oregon in a Fifth Wheel.

Pioneer RV Park, Hermiston, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects a Passport America discount. Nice park for a stopover. Lots of monthly people. Facilities were very clean and well kept. Not a lot of visual appeal but definitely a place we would use again if passing through the area. We camped at Pioneer RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Crown Point RV Park, Corbett, Oregon

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Nice little RV park in Corbett, east of Portland. All but one spot filled with monthly renters but they evidently keep the one pull-through for overnighters. Right on old Hwy 30, a great place to stay while visiting the Columbia Gorge. Great Wi-Fi and antenna TV reception. Friendly managers. Rate was only $17.50 with Passport America. We camped at Crown Point RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Boise Riverside RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice RV spot in the Boise/Garden City area with Good Sam discount. Right in town, but next to Boise River with nice greenbelt access. Some long term people, but they are in back with overnighters in front. Great access to Fairgrounds and other local sites. We went to SUPing class on Quinn Pond given by Idaho River Sports. Highly recommended if you want to try this new water sport. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice, newer RV Park. Great location, very quiet, right on the river. Worth the extra cost to get a river view spot. Great walking, biking trail along the river. Pet friendly. Very nice staff, good Wi-Fi. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Clearwater River Casino , Lewiston, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Not so great RV Park but then most casino camping parks aren't so great. Wish they would put a little more effort into this park. It could be a good park. Bath and showers need work, highway noise is really bad. But at least they have RV spots. We would stay again, just wish it was a little better. By the way, we left with $600 of their dollars! We camped at Clearwater River Casino in a Fifth Wheel.

Swiftwater RV Park & Store, White Bird, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Nice little park on the Salmon River. No cable TV anymore but very good Wi-Fi. Back in spots with river view are a little tight if all spots are occupied. Owner very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Fifth Wheel.
