Lake Falling Star RV Resort, Dale, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Quiet and peaceful park with friendly owners on-site. Beautiful lodge available to campers. We camped here with friends, and the lodge was great for getting together for card games, etc. We also enjoyed relaxing by the pool and walks by the lake. Very spacious sites. We stayed in a back-in site overlooking the lake and surrounding country-side. We camped at Lake Falling Star RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Good location and amenities for our overnight stay while on our way to Arizona, although not a park we would stay in for more than one night since it is located so close to the Interstate. We camped at Amarillo Ranch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Turquoise Trail Campground & RV Park, Cedar Crest, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2010 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Peaceful campground with spacious sites and lots of trees. We loved the quiet nights with amazing stars. Beautiful setting in the mountains with lots to do nearby since it is located on a National Scenic Byway between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Friendly owners on-site. Great hiking (and shopping!) a few minutes away. We camped at Turquoise Trail Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
