Unlike most Thousand Trails parks they assign sites here, which was a good thing. That way they fit the unit for the site, plus being a holiday weekend and booked full, that worked best for both them and us. Heavy rain arrived just before we did and the ground did not want to soak up the water so a lot of puddles and mud. Overall the place is nice and very well run, friendly and helpful staff and everything worked well. Will return.

It has been 6 years since we stayed here and overall thing are about the same, great place for camping with the kids as lots of activities for them, trees growing but still do not offer much shade. Roads not as dusty and they do wet them down to help keep dust down for awhile. Cable still needs work as some channels do not come in very well Staff all super friendly and helpful so have to give them A+ there. Will return but mostly off season and with good discount offered.

Let's start off with a very GREAT staff, everyone helpful and friendly. Campground very clean especially with just being the start of the season, grounds well kept and bath houses very clean. I am sure in prime season this is a very busy place with lots of kids, Plenty of things to keep them busy, we would have like to seen a bit better control on kids and golf carts at night as that is when they seemed to not obey rules as much. In season rates are a lot higher but they do include the waterpark and I believe the Western Theme park as well so figure that into the cost when deciding, plus a free shuttle to the beach, so now not paying to park there. This does look to be a great spot for a family vacation with the kids. We will return but mostly in the off season as now our kids camp less but would rather borrow our camper.....and we all know that's not going to happen.

Date of Stay:

Arrived on Good Friday and knew the campground would be crowded and site selection sparse but did not count on over 25 sites that were not in service either because of a maintenance issue or being held for the possibility of being used as a seasonal site, looks like Encore and Thousand Trails wants to fill their parks with annual site holders. Yes there were sites available but in most parks more and more sites are annual and the worst sites are left for the transit folks. It's going to be hard to sell memberships with less sites available.

Very nice campground with a wonderful staff, place was very crowded seeing it was the first weekend open and everyone was ready to go camping. Will not fault the campground but some family's need to explain to their children rules of camping. Great grounds all hookups were great and nice level sites. Some noise from the main road but not really bad on the weekend I imagine during the week might be worse, great location for touring the Amish area. Plus a free Hershey bar at check in.

Nice park but some sites not as level as others, with all full hook ups sites this park is becoming very popular so word to the wise for weekend stays reserve early.

Date of Stay:

They have just upgraded the sites to full hook ups which is a great addition. Sites which are paved could be longer, but hear they might extend them farther with gravel, which would be a plus. Site aprons could be made wider as you will have to back across the grass which is new and with rain, might sink some. Overall things are better but some small changes will help a lot. Not many camping spots in the northern part of Delaware and a short drive from 896 will makes this a great overnight stop for some snowbirds.

This is our go to, stop over spot in the area. A short drive from the highway and set so there is no noise from the highway. Nice long pull thru, but had to unhook to level front to rear.

Stayed here again this year for the FROG Rally and as always the grounds are immaculate. Seeing they just got thru with their fair: it was impressive to see how clean the grounds were, and how fast the fair ground crew were able to set up all the things needed for a rally of close to 800 rigs. Yes there are trains, but all summer almost every where we stayed we heard trains. Maybe not as close as here, but we got used to the noise. FYI: Some sites might need extra lengths of sewer hose.

Very nice park, clean and well run, roomy sites. Was assigned a pull-through; all good hookups. Staff very friendly. Close to highway but noise was not bad. There is a sand pit or quarry next door so not sure how noisy that would be as we got here late in the day.

Date of Stay:

As said before, basically a large field with long sites back to back, but they try to use them as pull thru if not busy as was the case while we were here. The hook ups all good, no cable but ok over the air signal. Staff very friendly and helpful. We joked about a site with shade but she did face us so the afternoon sun was behind us to enjoy sitting out under the shade of our awning.

Arrived during a heavy storm and found hook ups basically under water, looked at other sites to try and change but found the same, our main reason here was to visit the theme park so after the water soaked into the ground things worked out. Long pull thru but not real level, seems sites are getting upgraded to concrete but looks like it will take a while. Trolley to park was nice wristbands needed worn to ride trolly and enter the pool area.

Nice clean park, long pull thru site, friendly and helpful staff. A little noisy from I-80 but a/c helped drown the sound for sleeping. Site was long enough for our class 8 truck, 39' 5th wheel and Smart car.

Date of Stay:

Nice park right off of I-80 so there was road noise. This is a very popular, over night place as they were filled by evening and emptied out in the am. We spent 3 nights here to see the area and it filled the need well.

This has to be one of the nicest parks we have been to, beautiful landscape sites, long and wide so not to feel like you on top of your neighbor. A bit of a ride to Colorado Springs and attractions but for us it was worth it, especially after seeing some of the rv parks in the town area.
