Cactus Rose RV Park, Mingus, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We chose this park for an overnight stay because of the distance from where we started our day's journey and the easy on/off I-20. The small park had quite a few campers and we came without a reservation on a Friday evening. So, the manager put our small camper in one of the few back-ins, which was fine because my husband is handicapped and we were parked close to the bathrooms. The only amenity we used were the restrooms, which were very clean. The park is within walking distance of a gas station/convenience store (with diesel), perfect for starting our next day's journey. Highly recommend this park. We will use it again. We camped at Cactus Rose RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Wagon Master RV Park, Sanger, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park north of Dallas/Ft Worth. We make it a point to stop here when we travel I-35. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. In addition to the clean restrooms/showers, they have a laundry and a swimming pool. We camped at Wagon Master RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The park is close to town and shopping. A must-see/do are the alpacas and their protector dogs kept at the park. Guests are invited to meet, pet, and feed the alpacas. It's a very interesting learning experience.

Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground, Apple Valley, Minnesota

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed many times in this beautiful park. It is close to both Twin Cities and is easy on/off I35E. Unfortunately, they do not always honor a confirmed reservation. We thought we got lucky when we were able to reserve online a pull through site for our one night stay. We arrived to find that we were moved to a back in site because someone else had wanted to extend their stay in our pull through site. So, enjoy the park, but do not plan on parking in the site you thought you had reserved. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lubbock RV Park, Lubbock, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed here twice. This time for over a week. The park is an easy on/off I-27. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the sites are large and paved. The heated outdoor pool was just opened for the season and is very nice. The laundry had well-working machines and is located in the very large rec hall. The rec hall has a large library and an exercise room. The field behind the park (full of prairie dogs and rabbits) was our Border Collie's delight. We camped at Lubbock RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
