American Sunset RV & Tent Resort, Westport, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This was a great park to stay at. We saw many other parks in the area but this one was the nicest by far. The staff were great and the facilities were very clean. The laundry was $2 a wash and $1 dry. There were many large green areas that were for tenters and a park but there weren't campers in there yet so this was great for our puppies to run around in. Would definitely stay here again if back in the area. Bought some seafood at a local place called Brady's Oysters. All the food was a good price and very fresh. We also did some razor clam digging on the weekend. Lots of fun and lots of luck, yum! The Chevron station down the road sold a 3 day license. It worked out great. We camped at American Sunset RV & Tent Resort in a Motorhome.

Sea Perch RV Resort, Yachats, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

The view and the beach are a 10/10. The club house is luxurious. The draw back was that it is not that close to any amenities. The owner plans to put in a hot tub to help ease the pain of the site costs which will be awesome. Some of the sites are being sold, but the grounds are all immaculate. We didn't have great weather but still had a good time. Would love to stay when the whales are in the area, or in the summer for the weather. We camped at Sea Perch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Pomo RV Park & Campground, Fort Bragg, California

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this camp site. It had a state park feel but all the great amenities of an in town park. The facilities were beautiful and well kept. Loved the fire pits at each site, gave it the camping feel. We had 50cc scooters and took them into local town and to the very quaint Mendocino near by. We did some geocaching in the area and it was perfect fun. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pomo RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

San Francisco RV Resort, Pacifica, California

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This park was great. The only draw backs were the cost, and the bathrooms could have been a bit nicer for the price you pay. We loved the ocean view, the hot tub and pool, and the ease of getting to San Francisco. We brought our 50cc scooters and rode them to the BART trains (20 minutes away) and then transit our way to downtown. Walking distance to a little strip mall with grocery and and some restaurants. The bank is eroding in front of the ocean sites, but you can make your way down to the beach at a few places near by. Wouldn't stay anywhere else if back in the area. We camped at San Francisco RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Friendly RV Park, Weed, California

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived late and left early from this site. It was a bit sketchy with a local bottle collector sneaking through the park with his bag of recycling as we arrived. It was a good location as was close to the I-5. Bathrooms were acceptable but kind of small. Suited our needs for a quick stop over on our trek down to Santa Cruz. We camped at Friendly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Portland-Woodburn RV Park, Woodburn, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park on the way down to California and on our way back. It was a great parking lot style of park right off the I-5. It is walking distance to a large outlet mall, but would need a vehicle etc., to get to anything else. For our purpose it was great. We would stay again. We camped at Portland-Woodburn RV Park in a Motorhome.
