Point of Rocks RV Campground, Prescott, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park is on a hillside amongst boulders and trees right next to Lake Watson city park. We had a very private site for our 24 ft motorhome and decided to stay two nights. They had someone help us get into our spot and were all very helpful. After hiking around the lake the hot, clean showers were perfect. We would stay again. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Clark Canyon Recreation Area, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: April, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this free BLM campground by the reservoir. There are no hook ups and only vault toilets. Each campsite had a newer picnic table with a roof for shade and a fire ring. Views were gorgeous. Plenty of space between sites This was one of our favorite stops. We camped at Clark Canyon Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Even though it is part of a fairground, it was a pleasant area. There are scattered pine trees. Lady in the office was very friendly and helpful. The showers and restroom were very clean. Wifi worked well and our Verizon phone had good service. Close to Empire Mine State Park. We would stay again. We camped at Nevada County Fairgrounds RV Park in a Motorhome.

Willits KOA, Willits, California

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

KOA with many activities for children. We found it a handy place to stay to catch up on laundry. The washers and dryers were immaculate. The showers were spotlessly clean. Efficient staff. Sites can be dusty. On Sunday mornings they have a pancake breakfast, which my husband enjoyed. We will stay again if we are in the area. We camped at Willits KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We were worried about staying here after reading some reviews, but were very tired and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be a good stop over spot. It is a nice setting although some tight spaces. Wi-Fi worked well and our Verizon phone had service. The bathrooms were older, but very clean. The other campers were friendly as was the manager. We would stay here again when driving through the area. We camped at Glenyan RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Mountain Gate RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The sites are on a small hillside and step down so you don't feel quite as close to the unit next door. There are trees between each site. The bathrooms were updated and very clean. We came after the office had closed but the person on night duty came to greet us and showed us right to our site. He was very friendly. Good cable and excellent Wi-Fi reception. This is in a handy location with a gas station that also offers diesel right down the road. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Mountain Gate RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bakersfield River Run RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here one night on our way home from a three week vacation. This is a family run park and they are extremely welcoming. They gave us our choice of sites. The bathrooms and laundry room were clean and new. Cable TV and WiFi were excellent. There are long term renters but they were all newer units and neat and clean. The park was quiet at night except for some nearby freeway noise. This park is right on the river but handy on and off highway 99. We would stay again when we pass through Bakersfield. We camped at Bakersfield River Run RV Park in a Motorhome.
