Heritage Motor Coach Resort & Marina, Orange Beach, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This RV resort is fantastic. After we had been there for a few hours, we made reservations for another stay in June. I believe this will be our preferred campground from now on when we head to the beach. We enjoyed the pool and marina. Very relaxing place to be. The Wi-Fi works well too. The staff was wonderful. The entire place is very well maintained. I can't say enough good things about this RV resort. We camped at Heritage Motor Coach Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Lake Osprey RV Resort, Elberta, Alabama

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. Very well maintained. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Facilities are extremely nice and clean. My daughter loved the pool. Unfortunately it was way too quiet for our family. We rarely saw anyone else around. It is a little too far from the beach for our enjoyment. We camped at Lake Osprey RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Southport Campground, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This place is low end. Stayed there only overnight before we packed it and found another campground. Small sites, poor connections, and a pot bellied pig that roams. Will not ever use this place again. We camped at Southport Campground in a Motorhome.

Island Retreat RV Park, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This RV park is kid friendly. The downside was that the pool had too much chlorine in it and was way too hot to enjoy. The light in the pool had an issue that caused it to go off and on every few minutes. The bike path adjacent to the main road was very fun to ride on. You can easily ride your bike down to the beach without much trouble. There is a boat launch just across the road with a nice pier. Didn't see the staff much, but it is a very busy campground. I would use this campground again. We camped at Island Retreat RV Park in a Motorhome.
