Bay Lake Motorcoach Resort, Polk City, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Bay Lake Motorcoach Resort is Florida's Best Kept Secret, located in the I-4 corridor at exit 44, 20 minutes from Disney, 45 minutes to Tampa. A gorgeous 12,000 sq ft. clubhouse with beautiful pool and hot tub area, well equipped exercise room, laundry facilities, movie theatre, craft room, stocked library (dvds too). On a large private lake with community boat ramp. We came here the first time in November 2012, came back again 2013/2014. The people in this resort are very welcoming and friendly. The facility is beautiful and the location is perfect with very easy access in and out. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a park in central Florida to check it out! We camped at Bay Lake Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

1000 Islands / Kingston KOA, Kingston, Ontario

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of our favorite RV parks. The owner is absolutely wonderful and does everything in his power to make your stay the best it can be. We have stayed here many times over the last few years. Wi-Fi is now very good and consistently strong. The kids love 'Crazy Hans Hayride', actually everyone in the park enjoys it as even watching it from the sidelines is entertaining. There is a bike and walking trail (no motorized vehicles) that runs directly behind the park that will take you right into Kingston. Besides the regular tourist attractions in the Kingston area, the city itself is very nice and has a great downtown area. Also close to the wineries / vineyards throughout Prince Edward County. We camped at 1000 Islands / Kingston KOA in a Motorhome.

1000 Islands / Association Island KOA , Henderson Harbor, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

This park is now a KOA. Nice enough place, definitely a beautiful view and nice waterfront lots. I didn't see any pull-throughs, but there might have been a few. The park needs some general maintenance and upgrade work. Grass was uncut everywhere, but at the grounds keeper's site (lawn mover was parked there). Not enough garbage bins. Like I said before, nice enough, but nothing over the top to give it anything over a 7. We camped at 1000 Islands / Association Island KOA in a Motorhome.

Shipshewana Campground - South Park, Shipshewana, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Great location... close to flea market and downtown. Staff was very friendly. Easy in and out for a Big Rig. Very well maintained. The downfalls are that you have to pay for Wi-Fi, sites are quite tight (sitting area was barely wider than our awning)! No cable and very limited local channels on the aerial. No fire-pits on the sites, only a communal pit. Lacked garbage cans, and they don't recycle. But it is a very well maintained RV park. Area is a great place to visit! Go to the restaurant "Das Dutchman Essenhaus"... family style Amish dinner. Very good! Downtown Bakery called the "Bread Box Bakery"... yum! We camped at Shipshewana Campground - South Park in a Motorhome.

Serpent River Campground , Spragge, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Okay as a stop over, easy in and out! Few sites that are 60+ ft. Didn't use the pool but it looked dirty. We could smell garbage constantly... It was overflowing and never was emptied! Owners weren't overly friendly! One channel on the aerial... No cable. Go to 'Clarences Fish Market' up the road ( Hwy 17) towards Algoma Mills. Best smoked trout we've ever had! We camped at Serpent River Campground in a Motorhome.
