Majestic Mobile Manor and RV Park, Puyallup, Washington

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The RV Park is in behind the very nice mobile home area. Not real fancy, but was fairly clean and kept. The long rig sites are back-in gravel. We had lots of room for our 40ft. motorhome and pickup toad although the sites are not real wide. There is a dog walking area. The wi-fi worked fine. It is about 6 miles to Tacoma from the park. We would stay here again. We camped at Majestic Mobile Manor and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mulkey RV Park (Closed), McMinnville, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Very well kept and nice RV park about 3.5 miles south of McMinnville. Level sites with gravel pads and grass area and picnic tables. There are nice trees, shrubs, wood carvings, and lots of flowers around the sites and park. Fast wi-fi is available, but you pay extra for it, as I remember it $4 per day. We stayed in a 40ft. motorhome with a pickup toad and had lots of room. There are some semi permanent campers in the park, but clean and well kept. We will stay here again for sure. We camped at Mulkey RV Park (Closed) in a Motorhome.

Astoria / Warrenton / Seaside KOA, Hammond, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We were turned off by all the rules and signs at the last KOA we stayed at, but this is a very nice KOA park. We stayed in a long gravel site with grass, in the open. There are real nice sites in the trees too. The sites are pretty level. The staff was very nice and helpful. We didn't use the indoor pool or restrooms. Great location: Ft Stevens and the beach are not far away. We camped at Astoria / Warrenton / Seaside KOA in a Motorhome.

Salt Creek Recreation Area, Port Angeles, Washington

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. We stayed in the front row of the open sites with a great view of the Strait of Juan De Fuca. There are 3 tiers of back in sites in this area with a view. Our satellite worked fine, the drive through and other sites are in the forest and not as good of a view. There are 3 sets of stairs that go down to the small beach and tide pools. We would stay here again for sure. We camped at Salt Creek Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

Joy Land RV Park, Tonopah, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here 1 night while passing through Tonopah on our way to Las Vegas. It is located in a really poor part of town with junky yards and houses on a mostly dirt road. The campground is not well maintained. Not all things listed on their ad or business card are available. We would never stay there again. We camped at Joy Land RV Park in a Motorhome.
