Baird Motor Inn & RV Campground, Baird, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We had no membership card but paid $20 cash at the office. Pick your own spot, except sites 6 or 7 which are blocked due to the water not working. Located right off the highway but was surprisingly quiet. Bring your own tree trimmer. The sites are wide but not so long. The dumpsters were full and there was lots of trash stacked around them. We camped at Baird Motor Inn & RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Las Cruces KOA, Las Cruces, New Mexico

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

The staff in the office were very nice and helpful even recommending a local Mexican restaurant "Andele", which was quit good. The park has a nice safe feel and other parks we drove by in Las Cruces not so much. Coming in from I-10 it's a right turn at the bottom of a fairly steep hill, then up a fairly steep hill into the park. The whole park is dirt and gravel. they try to keep it raked and pretty but the dust gets on everything. Cable was good with 70 channels. Wi-Fi was the Tengleo which we didn't use. Verizon and AT&T worked well as could be expected in the city. We camped at Las Cruces KOA in a Motorhome.

Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

Really over priced for the quality of the site. Gravel / ashphalt? Very close together, I don't think you could put 2 class A's next to each other if both had slide outs. The Wi-Fi is only if you want to leave your coach and truck up to the restaurant with your laptop. I don't consider this as Wi-Fi. The hot tub and heated pool were NICE, but still over priced. We stayed 1 night passing through and would again but not for more than a night. We camped at Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Double J Campground and RV Park, Chatham, Illinois

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice clean safe park. The roads and site pads are gravel but we had no problem leveling. The highway noise was noticeable at night but this is the best place in this area so we were ok for a single night. Nearby is the Lake Pointe Grill ,which I'd highly recommend. We camped at Double J Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bushman's Camp, Bullard, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We're here visiting the wife's folks and I found a real treasure. Bushman's Camp is a park that opened at the end of last year. Everything is new and first class. A full month was under $500 including electric. This place has the nicest everything we've ever seen, heated indoor pool, hot tub, laundry there's a brook shires grocery less than a mile away, and out of 96 sites he only has 4 rented at this time. We camped at Bushman's Camp in a Motorhome.

Galveston Bay RV Resort & Marina, Dickinson, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a clean, safe, cheap place to spend some time. We were here 6 months at $380 a month for a 50 amp. Galveston and the Kemah Boardwalk are both great places close by to visit. Gio's Italian restaurant is on 517, the other side of interstate 45, and a really good value. We camped at Galveston Bay RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.
