This is not a resort and doesn't pretend to be. It is a perfect place to stop when traveling east/westbound on I-10, in Texas. Large, graveled, pull through sites. Free cable and wi-fi. Wi-fi works very good too! Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access and big rig friendly. All this, and Passport America too. We would definitely stay here again. Great value for the price.

Delightful! Paradise on the key. All previous comments are accurate. Plenty of space to pull in, facing the water, in our 39'ft class A. New owners are friendly and helpful. Bartender (Sam) in the Tiki bar is great. We had so much fun in our three day stay. We would definitely return. I had a glance inside the 'motel' room. It is more a bed and breakfast (without the breakfast) then a motel. The beds and linens look wonderful. Decorated in a warm eclectic style. We will definitely come back when we return to Florida.

We experienced mechanical problems with our coach and stayed here the night before we took it to the shop. The grounds were very clean, lawns trimmed, and campsites were long and wide. Excellent park for a big rig. The manager, Michele, was very helpful and accommodating. She held a space for us to use, if our rig was finished in time, for the following night. I have rarely experienced that quality of customer service. We would definitely stay here again. Wi-fi was good, Verizon worked well, close to the interstate with easy off and easy on. Minor train noise though.

Wonderful, helpful manager on premises. Campground is being upgraded and the increased maintenance shows. Fresh gravel in sites. Pull through site easily accommodated our 39ft coach and tow car. We had a major mechanical problem while visiting. The manager couldn't have been more helpful or encouraging. This is an excellent place to stop on I-40. Good value for your money. Escapees, AAA or Good Sam Discount. We did not use their Wi-Fi. There is an additional fee for the Wi-Fi. Some road noise from I-40, but not enough to bother our sleep. We will definitely stay here again. There is a vast improvement since we stopped here 3 years ago!

Beautiful location, directly across the street from the Gulf. Large level concrete pads. One pull through site (#1) which is $35 a night. All others are back in. After a call to the casino, security came to our site and checked us in (and unlocked the electrical box). I had a dead battery in our tow car and the shuttle driver brought an insta-start box to jump start it. No charge. Good cell and Wi-Fi from our Verizon card. I went to the casino for a Players Card, and they gave me a coupon for one night at the RV Park. A beautiful view, full hookups, and a wonderful staff for $0. Priceless! We will return.

Good for overnight stop only. Wi-Fi was free, but slow. Cable was not working because of a problem with the cable company, not the park. Sites are on dirt but level. We were unable to use our satellite because of the trees. The pool was a good size and clean, although we did not use it. Appears to have quite a few permanent residents and it was a little noisy at night (but no trains!) We might stay there again, but we would probably try someplace else first.

Excellent resort style campground. Cement slabs, grass, BBQs, fishing pond (no license required), free Wi-Fi, with a professional and friendly staff. We have been traveling for the last 4 months, and this "resort" surpasses 99% of all others we have stayed in. Easy access from the highway and quiet at night. Cell reception was also good. Resort is next door to the Family Dollar store, which is convenient. Price reflects Good Sam Discount. We will definitely stay here again.

Pluses: Across the street from the beach, full hookups, Wi-Fi and cable. Minuses: Dirt sites were uneven and small. There is a train that runs behind the campground. The train whistle is blown continuously as it travels behind the park. (Not the park's fault, but noisy nonetheless.) Very difficult to sleep at night due to the train traffic. There is a shuttle from the local casino down the street. I don't think that we will return to this campground, because of the noise.

A little bit off the interstate, but well worth the drive. This is a undiscovered gem! You are parked in a very old pecan grove. overlooking the South Llano River. There is a beach for swimming and fishing. Each site has a BBQ/smoker and a picnic table, in addition to hookups. Most of their sites have sewer. We had some difficulty with our satellite, but managed to get between the trees. Not a real strong Wi-Fi or cell signal with our Verizon card and phone. Peaceful, quiet, and helpful staff. The owner is a wonderful woman full of southern hospitality and charm. We loved this place so much, we will stop there on our return journey home.
