Tumbleweed Self Storage & RV Park, Bruneau, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

New park, owner says showers, restroom etc should be constructed spring of 2019. Large gravel sites for any size rig. Trees relatively new and small. We camped at Tumbleweed Self Storage & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Chloride Western RV Park, Chloride, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Only had one site available for my reservation. All other sites had permanent rigs. Sites are close together with no room to put out an awning. Told them when making the reservation that our 5th wheel was pulled by a HDT. He said I would be able to park in front of the trailer at a 90 degrees to the trailer but upon arrival he said I would have to park the truck down the road. Not what I would call a big rig friendly park. Would not stay here again. We camped at Chloride Western RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Valley View RV Park, Island Park, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for three months. Close to highway and the associated noise. Sites are plenty long enough to accommodate the longest rigs and are about 30 feet wide. Wi-Fi signal was not strong enough and if we were able to connect, we were soon dropped. Having a site closer to the office or restroom access points may correct this. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Canyon Springs RV Resort, Caldwell, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for a month thus the rate. For a new park, open less than a year, the sites are just long enough for a 35 foot rig and the roads are not really wide enough to back into the site with a larger rig. Of course the short term sites are pull thru so there is no issue with road width and backing in. We barely had room to park our truck on the site, back wheels next to the patio and front at edge of road. With the truck wheels at the board on one side there was about two feet between the truck and the trailer. They were in the process of blacktopping the sites while we were here. There is no real check-in area just park in the road to register. Concrete patio is not large. We camped at Canyon Springs RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

River Edge Resort, Alberton, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

My definition of Big Rig access must be different than others. Had to thread my way through the trees to get to my assigned site and some of the trees were almost too close. OTA TV was marginal and too many trees for Sat. TV in most sites. We camped at River Edge Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

River Rue RV Park, Wilbur, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

My definition of Big Rig access is different than others. The spot given to me was just long enough for my 5th wheel. Because of trees on both sides of the site I could not open the storage door. It was suppose to be a pull through but it turned out easier to back it in. Had to park the truck in the storage area as the site was too small for both. The park was clean and nice. It was quiet. They did strongly warn that if you use their WiFi to not be a "heavy" user. There is no OTA TV and too many trees for sat. TV. No Verizon service at all. We camped at River Rue RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Small cafe and store at the park, did not use. Otherwise it is back up the steep grade and 12 miles to a small town for groceries and cafe.
