Holly Acres RV Park, Egg Harbor City, New Jersey

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Unfortunately this campground is in decline due to the death of the husband and the poor health of the wife. Virtually no activities. The seasonals are leaving and transients are nonexistent. While the other campground, a short drive away is packed. We camped at Holly Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Bakers Acres, Parkertown, New Jersey

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second time camping here and it was just as good as the first time. Site was level from side to side; a little downhill slope, but no problem fore and aft. Quiet time was enforced. We camped at Bakers Acres in a Travel Trailer.

Atlantic City North Family Campground, Tuckerton, New Jersey

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

I went here upon recommendation of my brother's co-worker. Yes, the sites were sandy, but the one we had was level. There isn't any visible security but the owner was around all day going back and forth. Pet friendly to the extreme. Our site was next to a seasonal and while setting up his dog was inside barking, but it turned out that it was his 3 dogs barking and they barked whenever someone walked by. The first night we were awakened by a dog barking (that was tied up outside) @ 5am! it didn't stop till 7am! The seasonal guy with the 3 dogs went over and told them to quiet the dog! The pool is small but they keep the park clean. Not sure if we will return. We camped at Atlantic City North Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Timberline Lake Camping Resort, New Gretna, New Jersey

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

My wife & sister camped for the week end. The site was a pull through although it was easier to back out the way we came in to leave. This campground is 90% seasonal and as with others like this one the quiet times are a joke, both evening and moring. Fri night they quieted down because it started to rain at 2am! Next mornings the noise started an hour before the time posted. The other negative was when dumping my tanks when getting ready to leave the sewer was full and back up! Argh We camped at Timberline Lake Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Indian Branch Park Campground, Hammonton, New Jersey

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We had a lake front site and the views from our rear window were spectacular. Everyone we came in contact with were very friendly. I was able to pull in quite of few TV stations from overhead without a problem. This park is older, but well maintained. Some of the sites had the electric and water on the curb side of the site which means you need long cords and hoses to hook up. My wife & I enjoyed our stay here and will return. We camped at Indian Branch Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Holly Acres RV Park, Egg Harbor City, New Jersey

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

I almost don't want to tell you how great a time we had here. This is the most quiet park we have been too. And I don't want to spoil it. The site we had was HUGE!!! Everything worked perfect for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The store was much better than I expected and I saw TV cable for more half the price I had to pay at our previous campground. It rained very heavy this week end and water drained off the site without a problem. We most definitely will be returning. PS if you have a noisy bunch please don't stay here. We camped at Holly Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Holly Shores Camping Resort, Cape May, New Jersey

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

My wife & I stayed for one week (wished it was longer). Enjoyed express check in. Friendly workers. This resort is very nicely landscaped. Everything worked with no problems. We really liked this resort and will return. The resort is located very near Wildwood and Cape May which are nice shore resorts. The gave us a welcome package upon check-in (never got that before) that contained a lot of useful information. We camped at Holly Shores Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Atlantic Blueberry RV Park (formerly Blueberry Hill RV Park), Port Republic, New Jersey

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

My wife and I were escorted to our site by two nice gentlemen. They helped us back into site. Only problem was after setting up went to office and following one way signs I wasn't able to make a sharp right turn with just my truck. I asked about getting out at office and the manager was unhappy with the national reservations for putting us in this site because of the difficulty getting out, we wound up backing up out of the area with some assistance. Pool looked very clean and nice but too cold to use that night. Overall impression very nice and we will return. We camped at Atlantic Blueberry RV Park (formerly Blueberry Hill RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $50.00

My wife & I had a wonderful time, the site was very large and level. The people at the check in were very nice. Store had items I hadn't seen in other campground stores. The had 2 rides for the kids on sat because they had their Halloween celebration on the 1st of Oct (one of two). One was a train that was tame for the little guys and a haunted hayride that was scary for the more adventurous. Even though it rained on Friday it didn't bother us. Site was dry and not standing puddles or mud. I would definitely camp here again. We camped at Wading Pines Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Turtle Run Campground, Egg Harbor City, New Jersey

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Upon arrival the owner checked us in and was very friendly. Site was adequate size but whole site covered with sharp grey stones. Site not level. After setting up neighbor told us they were "quiet" (not!!!) and if they did get noisy tell them. After watching the amount of margaritas consumed thought better of it. Many teens running around after "quiet" hour began. This campground didn't get quiet until 1 am. The final night Labor Day Sunday the teens were running around until after 3 am! I can't believe the seasonal people would allow this. They did have a nice outdoor deli and "turtle races" on Saturday night. But the noise issue is too much. When I got home all I wanted to do was sleep to catch up on the sleep I didn't get. Also I have to mention the number of campfires burning and being left unattended as well as the kids being left unattended at the campsites. I doubt very much that we will return as the negatives far out weigh the positives. We camped at Turtle Run Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Castaways RV Resort & Campground , Berlin, Maryland

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first time at Castaways and it won't be our last. We pulled up and the site (299) was a little tight for our 30' trailer but another camper came over before I even started to back into the site to assist. Next putting up our instant shade for the first time ever I had a different group of campers helping! People were great campground was great although there was a tree next to trailer keeping me from using awning (only negative). The sites are huge compared to some I've been too. They keep this campground clean picking up trash at site a number of times during the day; and this encourages the campers to keep it clean too. We had a blast!! We camped at Castaways RV Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Avalon campground, Cape May Court House, New Jersey

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

My wife & I camped here to be near a butterfly exhibit. I'm also trying all of the CG's I can in NJ as we live in NJ and we are looking for a perm home CG. We had one of new sites behind the pool which was close to the pool which was nice. The negatives were broken stone for pad for trailer to set on; preventing me from going barefoot. Site were very close together and the maintenance people started early on Sat and Sun preventing late sleep in. A previous review said they were able to get Wi-Fi at these sites we weren't. We camped at Avalon campground in a Travel Trailer.
