Mohawk Valley Camping Area, Colebrook, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

The campsites are located in a valley. The road leading to the campsites is a narrow gravel/dirt road. If it rains the road is subject to gullies.

The sites are not numbered very well so be sure to use the map you are given at check-in.

The owner was not friendly and the campground needed some work.

We would never stay here again. We camped at Mohawk Valley Camping Area in a Motorhome.

North Beach Campground, Burlington, Vermont

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

If you are traveling in or towing a vehicle over 11' feet beware. You will not be able to enter the park through the main entrance. You will be directed to enter through a gate that says Do Not Enter. After registering and entering the campground we found our site. The site we were in was very tight for a 40' RV. The roads are all gravel/dirt. It rained the whole day we were there and the roads became a little muddy. If we ever come back this way we will not stay in this park. It is to pricey. We camped at North Beach Campground in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge, Natural Bridge Station, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here before and enjoyed it. It is several miles from the interstate but it is a fun place, especially for children.

We were escorted to our campsite, which was gravel and it was fairly level. Satellite signal was good, Verizon signal was good.

We stayed here in a motorhome and we would stay here again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort at Natural Bridge in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The local attraction is Natural Bridge. If you feel like waking a few miles you will enjoy it. Also nearby is the town of Natural Bridge Station. In the middle of town is an antique shop with a lot of interesting items.

Statesville / I-77 KOA, Statesville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here before because of its proximity to Moorseville. We think it is a bit overpriced. This might be our last stay in this KOA because it is becoming a bit run down and the highway noise seems to have gotten worse. We camped at Statesville / I-77 KOA in a Motorhome.

Trails End RV Park, Waynesville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Small park but very nice. The campground hosts were very friendly and helpful. The sites are a little close and maneuvering a big rig requires patience when backing into the sites.

We did enjoy our stay and would definitely return. We camped at Trails End RV Park in a Motorhome.

The sites were okay. Most were grass and were not level. Difficult time finding a satellite friendly site. The staff was very helpful. We camped at Plum Nelly Campground in a Motorhome.

High Springs Campground, High Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

The park is near I-75 and is very convenient if you are traveling north or south. The staff was friendly and our site was fine for our 40' motorhome and towed. The pool area looked nice but we did not use it. We had a good satellite friendly site. We had a very enjoyable overnight stay and we would definitely stay here again. We camped at High Springs Campground in a Motorhome.

Branson Stagecoach Campground, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice quiet park a few mile from Branson. Our site was a concrete pad big enough for our 40' RV and toad to fit on comfortably. The electric, cable, and WiFi all worked great. Our rate is for Passport America. We would stay here again. We camped at Branson Stagecoach Campground in a Motorhome.

Rising Star COE, Pine Bluff, Arkansas

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This must be one of the best kept secrets in Arkansas. The campground is beautiful. It sits on the banks of the Arkansas River. The sites are beautiful. We really can't say anything bad about the park. The only thing we didn't understand was registration upon arrival. On Tuesday and I think Wednesday the guard shack is not manned. There are no instructions posted as to what to do for entry. Luckily we had our printed reservation information with us so we knew what campsite we had. We never had anyone validate our stay. That was the only downside that we saw. When in north Arkansas, this is the place to stay. We camped at Rising Star COE in a Motorhome.

River View RV Park & Resort, Vidalia, Louisiana

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed this park a lot. It sits very near to the bank of the Mississippi River. Looking out the front window of our RV, we could watch the river traffic. Barges and tugs constantly going up and down the river. It was only a few miles off of the highway and access into the campground and the site was a breeze. We would stay here again. The rate shown is Passport America. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

French Quarter RV Resort, New Orleans, Louisiana

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $88.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is first rate. It has a great staff and the place is kept very clean. The laundry room and pool area is actually beautiful. For visiting the French Quarter, this is the best. Our tow vehicle never left the campground because we could walk to everywhere. We had a fun time while we were there. We will definitely return and stay here again. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Walkabout Camp & RV Park, Woodbine, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

The rate was 17.60 using Passport America. The park is small but is very nice. We gave it the 8 rating because the grounds were clean, the owners were very nice, the sites were full hookup pull-through. We only stayed for a night but, we would gladly come back if we had something to do in the area. There are a lot of places to stop for fuel and food about 3 miles from the campground. We camped at Walkabout Camp & RV Park in a Motorhome.
