Huntington State Park, Huntington, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This is a state park so I used Reserve America to make a reservation. They showed only one spot for our size rig. We are here now at the park and it is empty and no one to check you in. Leave money in envelope and pick your site. A dump station in the park. Don't know what would have happened if someone was in our reserved spot?? Very nice little park on a beautiful lake. Well worth the trip. Great for boating although we do not have one. The price reflects the online fee of $8.00, normally $25.00. We camped at Huntington State Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain Valley RV Resort, Heber City, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Loved this park. They have an adult section with adult only pool and spa. New with big spots. I would have given it a 10 but they have a young man that washes motorhome and trailers all day long. One day started at 9:30 and didn't quit until 3:00. His honda generator is loud and ruins any outdoor activity. Have to go inside for quite. I was not informed the monthly fee does not include electric so you do have to add to the monthly fee of $900.00. We camped at Mountain Valley RV Resort in a Motorhome.

St. George Elks Lodge #1743, St George, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Backed up to the beautiful red mountains, breath-taking! Very friendly lodge. Wonderful golf course right down the hill. I wish we had scheduled more time to explore the area but we will be back! Bonus...50 amps! Does not get any better than this. If you have not joined the Elks, you should! They do so much good for the community and great places to stop for the night on your travels. We camped at St. George Elks Lodge #1743 in a Motorhome.

Golf down the hill, old town a few miles away with great places to eat. Seems they have a restroom for campers but did not use it. Not sure if there were showers? road is narrow coming up the hill but opens up to a very large parking lot.

Have always stopped here on our way to Oregon. Easy on and off. We parked and had to wait until they opened at 2:00. We ran Into a very unreasonable yard employee that made us feel unsafe.

Will not be coming back. We camped at Yreka RV Park in a Motorhome.

Holiday Palms RV Park, Quartzsite, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

First time visiting Quartzite So did not know where to stay. After many calls to other parks, talked to Shelly. We are 45 ft. So a problem In an older park. She had someone physically measure a spot to confirm we would fit. Very accomadating. When we arrived our guide directed us into our spot perfectly. We wanted to see the RV tent and was able to walk through the back gate right to the tent. Very close to all activities.
I do believe this is one of the nicest parks in the area. Wide spaces and friendly help. We camped in a 45 ft motorhome. We camped at Holiday Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.

Riverside RV Park, Chehalis, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Great location for golf lovers. Perfect course and great restaurant within walking distance. We came in a 45 foot motor home, towing and it was horrible getting out! We got hung up and jack-knifed in the middle of the road. When leaving, be sure to make a very wide swing to miss the ditches. Drive carefully!!!! We camped at Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Midway RV Park, Centralia, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We were pleasantly surprised to find this older, a little off the beaten path park to be so good. It is old, but clean, neat and friendly. Spaces are wide. Great electricity and good Wi-Fi. Perfect for an over night visit. I would highly recommend it for that quick stop before or after tackling Seattle. We even got satellite from where we were parked. We camped at Midway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ami's Acres Campground, Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We called and then e-mailed to confirm this park could take a 45 foot motorhome. They e-mailed back that they could and looked forward to serving us. We arrived and attempted to go to the assigned site. Impossible! Roads were narrow and washed out. Trees would have ripped our side and would have been VERY difficult maneuvering a way out of the camp. We went back to say we could not get in and the host was very understanding. We had to leave and find another spot 6 miles back from where they were. We sure could have saved time and fuel if we had known ahead of time. I do not recommend this site for any large rig, not matter what the size. We camped at Ami's Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Driftwood Shores Resort & RV Park, Manistique, Michigan

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

What a surprise! A wonderful rustic park, quiet and peaceful, right next to the lake. Very clean log cabin restrooms and friendly staff. It does have one hook up for 50 amps, not sure if there is any other spots but #15 does have it. Very large spaces. A dump is near but no sewer hook-ups. No cable but Bill does have a stack of VCRs and some DVD's that are free to use. We loved it. Thanks to the previous reviews we decided to try it out and so glad we did. For the fisherman we are told great Salmon fishing here with lots of places for your boat. Perfect place. We would come back! We camped at Driftwood Shores Resort & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hearthside Grove Motorcoach Resort, Petoskey, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

This is an absolutely beautiful park! Geared for ownership of individual lots, it is a well kept and friendly park. I rated it a 10 as there is nothing to fault but price. $79.95 is way too high for this park. I was quoted $59.00 on phone but was later told differently. I would not go back as we do not need that much luxury for the price. Nice to visit but will not be back. We camped at Hearthside Grove Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Mackinaw City / Mackinac Island KOA, Mackinaw City, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The first thing I was aware of was the friendliness of staff. They worked very hard to have the perfect space for our 45 foot motor home. They were able to make changes at the last minute and still get us in. The park is shaded with big spots. Wi-Fi worked great and they supplied us with all the information to see the local highlights. We hated to leave as we felt like part of the family. I loved the path I could walk into town, shady and beautiful. Perfect location to explore Mackinack City. I would definitely stay here again if we were in town. We camped at Mackinaw City / Mackinac Island KOA in a Motorhome.

Fifty Point Conservation Area, Grimsby, Ontario

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

What a surprise! We read in a camping guide that it was only 30 amps and not sure if it had sewer hookups. A brand new part with total hook-ups. So close to Niagara Falls yet in a beautiful area of lake and lighthouse. Very friendly and welcoming. I wish we could come back again. We camped at Fifty Point Conservation Area in a Motorhome.
