Ajax Country Livin' RV Park at I-49, Marthaville, Louisiana

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is my second stay here. It is conveniently located close to I-49. Rate is with PA. A small park, but peaceful with friendly owners. My site was very level, full hookups, excellent Verizon reception, and clear DISH satellite reception. I stayed three nights to visit nearby attractions, and wait out a storm. I'd definitely stay here again. We camped at Ajax Country Livin' RV Park at I-49 in a Motorhome.

Great Escape RV Park & Campground, Higginsville, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Overpriced, in my opinion, for the cramped conditions. Road noise very evident from I-70. Easy on and off the interstate. Many permanent road/utility workers. Only good for an overnight on the way to somewhere else. We camped at Great Escape RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Victorian Acres Campground, Nebraska City, Nebraska

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

A real gem only 4 miles off of I-29. Spacious, fairly level site, very friendly owners, with escort to my site. Excellent water, electric, and sewer. The campground is immaculately maintained, and has beautiful plantings and seasonal decorations. I will be returning here in the spring. Be sure to follow their website directions rather than your GPS. Easy to get to if you ignore the GPS. We camped at Victorian Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Countryside Campgrounds, Lennox, South Dakota

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good place to stop if you are looking for a quick on and off of I-29. It is located behind a gas station which had easy access for refueling. No shade, and no ambiance, but a safe harbor from the high winds in this area. Loud road sounds from the interstate. We camped at Countryside Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

County Line Campground, Summit, South Dakota

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is my second time at this park. It was in late October, so the water, sewer, bathrooms, etc. were closed. No one on site. I was the only camper. That being said, it was a safe haven with electricity for the time of year in this northern location. I will return on my way north next spring. We camped at County Line Campground in a Motorhome.
