Gravel sites but level. Big enough for a 40 ft and car. Wifi is commercial, don't bother unless you are in a site near the repeater modem, if the camp is full you don't get a signal. Pool was closed, but looked okay. Close to the War Eagle area and we came for the shows so would probably stay again. Management is friendly and helpful.

Well maintained, friendly owners and good wifi. Come in for three days and ended staying a week. Will come back again.

A few gravel sites with 30 amp service. Not bad for a day or two. No other amenities but connected with RV/trailer sales and service. Some highway noise but not too bad.

Of the two campgrounds for Walsenburg, this one is marginally better. Sites are unkept with trash around from the permanent residents. Okay for an overnight stop but I wouldn't come back. On the positive, the site was marginally level and had 50 amp service. If you need service on your unit, BIRCO is right on site.

This is a jewel of a park. A COE unit so there are few ammenities but the sites are teriffic. Limited sites with 50 amp and sewer so reservations are helpful (recreation.gov). Lots of birds and animals, lake is down quite a bit, but coming back. Fishing is allowed. NO cell service on Verizon, but apparently ATT is good. Nothing to do here but rest and relax.

Other than the road noise, this a great park. Well managed and staff is very helpful and friendly. Sites are concrete with enough space to park the car next to the RV. Our rate was a monthly rate.

Basically a parking lot in a defunct motel. Mngmt was great, friendly and helpful, we stayed an extra day rather than overnight based on her description of local sites. Good wifi. We had one of the few shady sites.

New mgmt, still a little unorganized, tried to charge us above the original price agreed. Fortunately, we had the email showing the price we agreed to. Wifi never worked, they kept promising it was being worked on but nothing ever happened on it. We requested 50 amp, but they only have four sites out of 50 that have 50 amp and they were occupied, one by a smaller trailer that was using 30 amps. Bathrooms, showers and laundry are NOT ADA accessible (25 years into the law). A fellow camper was in a wheel chair and could not use them. Over all, great visuals and nice location, but for the price, I expect better.

Sites are scattered over the campgound, but dispersed so you are not close. First electric we tried had open ground, but the one on the other side of the pole was good. Managed by the city and had a very friendly host on site. Great little park for an over night or a few days. We will come back.

Nice little park for a visit to Palo Duro State Park. Management very friendly. Tried to get us into a shady spot, but the trees came down too much so they tried to cut off the limbs to help us. Could get very tight if they were completely full, but otherwise good sites.

Nice park, lots of amenities, but the WiFi is inadequate for the number of sites. Management just says to keep trying. After four hours I decided we would not come back. Price too high to accept that level service. There are other parks available .

Small park with few amenities but very friendly owner. All sites are level, gravel and separated, not crowded. We love this little park. It's out in the country, has decent access to San Antonio, Berne and Bandera. Good area for birding also. We will be back, in fact are planning on it.

Many improvements. Management very good. Nice level sites. Good Wi-Fi. They separate the long term sites from the transient. Pool was still open and looked very clean. Convenient to Branson. Would stay here again. Rate reflects PA discount.

Grass and gravel sites. Fairly roomy, but has some noise from the highway and train tracks nearby. Wi-fi at office only. Overall, nice park for one or two days. Close to Garnet Ghost Town. Would come back.

Not a great park, but not a terrible one. Wifi doesn't reach all sites. Sites are gravel, mostly level. Back sites are on Alder Creek and are mostly tenting sites. Very close when several large RVs parked in a row with slide-outs out. Owner is very nice and the area is wonderful. Noise during the day, but not at night. Very close to a lot of Lewis and Clark sites and Astoria nearby is wonderful.
