Garden of the Gods Campground, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in this park overnight, unfortunately arrived at 5:30 after the office closed. Open sites were posted on the bulletin board which was great. The only problem with not getting there before the office closed was we were unable to get a code for the laundry room or wifi. When I asked the next morning they said it was a problem to leave in the box. Would try and find a park that wasn't in the inner city. We camped at Garden of the Gods Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Perryville Jellystone Park (formerly Perryville Campground), Perryville, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We have a Randy McNally RV GPS and a Garmin, neither could find this park. Stopped and asked, drove by it twice and finally found it on the third try. It was dark by the time we arrived and there are no lights at the entrance to enable you to see it. An old KOA sign that has been taken down and not replaced with anything. Stayed two nights, only got sporadic internet, very poor TV reception, possibly because it was cloudy. Spoke to the owner when we left about trying to find, didn't seem concerned. We camped at Perryville Jellystone Park (formerly Perryville Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

On-Ur-Wa RV Park, Onawa, Iowa

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped here for one night on our way south. Thought the campground closed Oct 15th, but phoned to be sure. They are going to stay open year round this year. Very friendly manager, excellent WI-FI, easy on-off Interstate, very quiet, long pull thru sites. Clean bathrooms, would definitely stop here on our way again. We camped at On-Ur-Wa RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Ho-Hum RV Park, Carrabelle, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Small park with 50 sites, parked quite close to your neighbor. We stayed here for 4 nights. Very little beach to walk on, and found very little to do in the area. Camp hosts are very friendly. We camped at Ho-Hum RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Osprey RV Resort, Elberta, Alabama

Beautiful park with large sites. It is not yet fully developed, but what is developed is very well done. We stayed here for a week to visit the area and golf. Wi-Fi and cable worked well. Golf course very close to the park. We camped at Lake Osprey RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Gulf Coast RV Resort, Beaumont, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed overnight here on our way to Florida. Easy in and out, off of I-10. Drive through sites, free continental breakfast in the morning. My only complaint is the WI-FI was non existent. They advised us that they have been working on it. Concrete pads and well taken care of. We camped at Gulf Coast RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Desert Skies RV Resort, Mesquite, Nevada

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this campground for 3 nights, large pull through sites, nice clean park, friendly check-in, adequate fitness center. There is highway noise from the interstate. We had problems finding this park as their website shows the mailing address as Mesquite, Nevada, however their physical address is Littlefield, Arizona. If you put the Mesquite address in your GPS it doesn't know where to go and the sign is very small at the entrance of the park. We camped at Desert Skies RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 5 nights. When checking in, we found this to be the friendliest park yet. The ones at the check in had volunteer on their name tags, but were ever so helpful. We had excellent internet connection and cable service. We would certainly stay here again if in the area. We camped at Distant Drums RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped at this park for one week. This is one of the quieter parks we have ever stayed at. They have 4 hot tubs and a large swimming pool. Very friendly check-in and all the residents are very friendly. We camped at Caliente Springs Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
