Jolly Roger Travel Park, Marathon, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Our last stay here was 5 years ago. They gave since added a beautiful pool and more RV space. The staff continue to be very polite and helpful. We always stay in waterfront sites that allow you to pull in facing the water and sunsets. Sites are level with grass and cement patios. We need only gave a thirty footer and tow, however, these waterfront sites are very capable of harboring large tandem axle 40's with ease. Full service sites well marked and utilities in good locations on the site. Boat ramp out front next to the palapa park. We launched and kayaked to the mangroves from here. Spotless restrooms and laundry room with up to date digital washer and dryers. Great value here. We camped at Jolly Roger Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Tallahassee East Campground , Monticello, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Nice pull through sites are level. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only thing I didn't like was the sand on some of the sites. Although your RV is parked on hard dirt ,the area next to your RV is sand and dirt and makes for a mess in the RV. I would stay here again, though, as it was quiet and good for overnight. We camped at Tallahassee East Campground in a Motorhome.

Playa Del Rio, Pensacola, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

I usually look for a site with pull throughs. However, this RV park is located on the Perdido Key with the inner bay water on one side and the beach just across the street. The site was a back in but nice size and plenty of room for your toad and still room to eat and relax. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This park just has regulars, but they were all very kind, and they all had nice rigs. Clean rest rooms and very close to restaurants and other sites. Sites are very RV friendly with plenty of room for slideouts and easy hookups. Everything worked great. A short walk in the sand across the street and you're in the Gulf waters. I will return here again when we're in Pensacola. We camped at Playa Del Rio in a Motorhome.

Anastasia State Park, St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at the park for a week. Sites are very private, lots of tree so need to be careful when backing. The park is on the beach, however sites are on the parks interior. The drive to the beach is 5 minutes and a short walk if you don,t drive. They are also next to an inlet water way that joins the marina so there is kayaking and sailing available. On the same road you take to the beach. Beautiful beaches and not full of people. Park staff were very friendly and helpful. Sites were very nice. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Anastasia State Park in a Motorhome.

Great park with huge sites for pull-throughs. Plenty of space, level sites and helpful staff. Park is very clean and tidy. Park is very close to the speedway and 10 minutes from the beach. Would definitely stay here again if I am in Daytona. We stayed here for three days and enjoyed each one. Pet friendly. We camped at International RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Larry & Penny Thompson Park & Campground, Miami, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This is Miami's "hidden gem". This park is exactly that: a wonderful park with lots of trees, grass and open areas. You would not know it was even there if you miss the sign where you pull in as the RV park is completely surrounded by heavy vegetation and trees from the road. You go down a long drive and turn a corner into this great "hidden" park. Sites are large and level with all hookups. Very easy to park and although there are lots of trees. You don't have to worry about hitting one when parking if you back in. We stayed here for several days before we headed to the Keys and then we stayed here for several more on the way back. The park layout is fantastic. Shower, restroom and washer/dryer building are conveniently located throughout the park. No matter where you site is, there will be a building close by. I looked all around and just happened to fall upon this on their park's website. If your looking for a great place to spend time when in the Miami area, you don't need to look any further (and you won't find much around Miami for RV's anyways). Great security in the park on constant patrol. We camped at Larry & Penny Thompson Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Jolly Roger Travel Park, Marathon, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for one week to use as a central site to visit all of the keys. Great place, friendly staff. We had a site 15 ft. from the water (absolute oceanfront) with an incredible view. Ocean sites were very wide with plenty of room and level. Sites are hard sand packed with grass on both sides for your RV. Very quiet park and pet friendly. We had to put a deposit down for our pet and when we left the park we forgot to stop and pick it up. Friendly staff mailed us our deposit back. Very honest and helpful. Close to restaurants and shopping. We would come back here again. There is no pool, but they have a swimming area roped off along their shoreline. We camped at Jolly Roger Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Thought we would stay for a couple days and when we checked in and saw the resort, we decided to stay for a week. Absolutely one of the cleanest parks we've visited. Friendly and helpful desk personnel. Trash pick ups at your site and propane delivery to your site if needed as well. All the shower and bath houses are new and great. Indoor and outdoor pools and a lazy river. Huge laundromat and store on site. Most of the lots are pull throughs on grass and level. Our space was about five hundred feet from the sand and beach. The beach was amazing, clean and beautiful white sands on the Atlantic. We will definitely be back next year for a month. Very relaxing. On site restaurant (breakfast on the water) was good and resort is very secure with front gate guard and security rounds 24/7. The rate is for a week with six days and the seventh is free. We camped at Myrtle Beach Travel Park in a Motorhome.

North American RV Park & Yurt Village, Coram, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $29.00

Spaces are gravel with grass on both sides of the pad and most are very level. The RV park is 10 minutes from the west gate at Glacier National Park and it well maintained. Trees in the park are limited but the place is surrounded on three sides by forest. We were given the weekly special with 7 days at $199.00. Pet friendly. The folks the own the place are very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Very quiet and peaceful. We camped at North American RV Park & Yurt Village in a Motorhome.

Coeur D'Alene RV Resort, Post Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We own a 30' Class A and we found the park to be very clean and well managed. The reception area is very nice and the employees were very nice. The older permanent RV's (which you have read comments about) were mostly kept in one section of the park, however, my wife and I walk every night and found the residents to be very friendly. The front entrance is tight, however, anyone with a longer unit just need to know to take it slow and easy. No problems with our site in relation to the freeway noise and and the park and all resources are beautifully maintained. Very close to shopping and restaurants and 10 minutes from most major stores. When we're in Coeur D' Alene again this is where we'll stay. Pet Friendly too. We camped at Coeur D'Alene RV Resort in a Motorhome.

San Francisco RV Resort, Pacifica, California

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice people but most of the RV Park is one big parking lot. Very many "residents" here. We had ocean view space which was up next to the cliffs. Several of the spaces were closed off as the cliff appears to be falling into the ocean. The park is pet friendly and clean, however your choices for RV parks in SF is very limited so we would stay here again but probably not choose to stay next to the ocean. We camped at San Francisco RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Napa Valley Expo RV Park, Napa, California

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very small RV park, however, if you can get in its great. This park, in comparison with others in Napa, is excellent (but trees are limited). The man who handles registration and maintains the park is the nicest person you will meet. He keeps the place spotless and well maintained and is most helpful with all our many questions during the stay. The park is located at the EXPO, but is up in its cozy corner and quiet. Very close to downtown Napa (we road our bikes into town) and town is beautiful. Pull through sites are level and big. I tow a jeep and with both rigs parked I still had lots of room on the pad. If in Napa, I would definitely stay here again without any reservation!!! We camped at Napa Valley Expo RV Park in a Motorhome.
