Black Forest Family Camping Resort, Cedar Mountain, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. Bathrooms and showers were spotless. In fact they were the cleanest I have experienced so far. Gravel roads made the drive in a bit dusty but at the campsites we did not have a problem. Very friendly staff. Will stay here again. We camped at Black Forest Family Camping Resort in a Tent Trailer.

Chester Frost Park, Hixson, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2006 - $16.00

Nice clean campground. You have to drive or ride a bicycle to swim area. I suppose you could walk but I bet the next time you would ride. If you feed the ducks you might find them honking around 6am next to your camper in the morning trying to wake you up for more bread. It was fun We camped at Chester Frost Park in a Tent Trailer.

Rocky Mountain Campground, Rome, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2006 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground setting. Lots of shade. Nice beach. Bathrooms and showers where a bit dirty. Not much hot water. You must pay a one time vehicle fee, $3. 00, in addition to the camping fee. Very good fishing. Many camp sites are located right on the water. The campsites themselves were clean and level. Great place to bring a canoe. We camped at Rocky Mountain Campground in a Tent Trailer.
