Arlington River Resort, Newburg, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2006 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This park has just reopened under new ownership. All 99 sites are full hook up, pull-through and all can accommodate big rigs. The park is located in a beautiful valley beside the Gasconade River and the new owners have done a lot of facility upgrades, along with new improvements, like park wide WiFi access. Newburg is located not far from Rolla, MO, along I-44. This park is an undiscovered gem. See the website for more information. We stayed here in April, 2006 on our return from Florida. We camped at Arlington River Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp'n Aire RV Resort (55+ park), Lake Wales, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2006 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park during the months of January, February and March, 2006. The owners, staff and residents of this 55+ community are friendly and helpful. The park has undergone extensive renovation and, while we were there, they were adding additional sites along a tributary at the rear of the park. There were activities daily during our stay and this area provides easy access to both the Gulf and Atlantic attractions. I would certainly recommend this park as a winter destination. We camped at Camp'n Aire RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
