This is a fabulous Campground. Sites are wooded and easy to navigate in and out of. Sites up front are right on the beautiful Lake where you can fish, use a small kayak or paddle boat that the Campground offers for free. They have a wonderful beach area built with real sand. Great for sunbathing and swimming. Campground is located less than a mile off of I-95 so it's easy to find and perfect for overnighters. We stayed for 3 days in our Class A and loved it. Cable TV is great Wireless Internet is great, the Campground hosts are terrific and very helpful if you need anything. Our little Yorkie loved the place. We're definitely coming back!

This County owned park is a great place to entertain the kids, lots to do. Frisbie golf, swimming, biking, etc, etc. Sites are ok but not as private as we like. The Ranger seems to be burned out, not as friendly as we would have expected, but he was quick and to the point and did his job. Overall is a great location and easy to get in and out of. We took our bikes and loved riding all over the campground and Melbourne. This is a very nice place to stay or stop for the night. Only negative is: no sewer on site, which is typical for a public campground.

This campground is very nice for a secluded getaway. It is very close to Beaufort for sight seeing, and it is close to Hunting Island State park where you can go to the beach. (And if you cannot get into the Hunting Island RV Camp, this is the next best thing.) The sites are nice, wooded and have good services for Elec/Water/Sewer/Cable. Recreation for the kids includes a unique water slide and basketball court, hiking and fishing. Has a nice little lake with wrap around dock for fishing. There is a Community Center for gatherings. Great place for Group camping. Camp host was terrific! We will come back.
