John F Kennedy COE, Heber Springs, Arkansas

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground on the Little Red River. We walked a short distance to the river and caught trout. The sites were level and spacious. Only negative was no AT%T service. We had to drive to entrance to the park to get service. We camped at John F Kennedy COE in a Motorhome.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The location is great with a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. The site was nice and level and the utilities were good. The wifi was very weak in our location. The gravel road in and out were very dusty. But overall this is a nice park. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Motorhome.

Very convenient to downtown Memphis. Always use the I-40 bridge which is much better than the I-55.

Bonita Lakes RV Park , Meridian, Mississippi

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our stay here. The sites are close together but nice level concrete pads. There was no shade in our section. There were some long-term residents but it was quiet and the park was extremely well maintained. We would stay here again. We camped at Bonita Lakes RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park was nice for our purpose. It's convenient to local attractions and easy to access. We had a neighbor close by but they were extremely nice so it didn't bother us. This park served our purpose very well. The location is convenient to downtown and Biltmore. Spaces were tight but we didn't stay there much during the daytime. The staff was great. We camped at Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Georgia RV Park (formerly Country Boys RV Park), Commerce, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here for one night and have no complaints. The site was packed dirt but level. It would be messy if wet. We tested with a power management system and our utilities worked well. The office person was friendly and check in was quick. This was a good park for us as a stopover on I 85. We camped at Georgia RV Park (formerly Country Boys RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Gulf State Park Campground, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

As with most state parks in Alabama this park is excellent. We had a site on the big lake and the view was beautiful. Because of the landscaping we could not see the site next to us, so good privacy. Our site was not shady but the weather was cool so it didn't matter. DirecTV signal was easy to acquire but we could not pick up the WiFi. We are looking forward to returning. We camped at Gulf State Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park, Niceville, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice campground which is for us close to relatives. We had a site on the back side which was spacious but very difficult to get into because of the narrow street. The site next to the water are much easier to back into. We camped at Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Piney Grove COE, New Site, Mississippi

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

I guess the budget crunch has affected this campground. It has been several years since we stayed here and it has gone downhill. The restrooms were horrible. Our site had no grass and since it rained for two days it was nothing but red clay. With the 50% discount you don't expect much and that's what we got-not much. We camped at Piney Grove COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park. First site had bad electrical hookup and couldn't get in touch with manager. Called and left message but never returned call. We moved to another vacant site and got it worked out the next morning. Otherwise our stay was great. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $79.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful campground with top notch amenities. This was our first stay here so we were not familiar with the sites. We were assigned a preferred site that was almost impossible to get into. Luckily 2 of our neighbors moved their vehicles and we managed to park. We barely managed to get our truck parked sideways out of the street. We have a 39' 5th wheel so next trip we will make sure we get a premium site which is much more spacious. Other than the site being too small we had a wonderful time the whole week. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Good site. Just off of the interstate and a good deal of traffic noise but being sound sleepers it didn't keep us awake. Sites are pull-through with gravel and fairly level. Utilities were good. We camped at Forsyth KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
