This is the biggest KOA I have ever visited, 5 people man the check in counter, they could probably use 7. Very, very well organized campground for such a large operation. I have never seen so many kids, large pool, petting zoo, etc, etc. Normally we try and avoid kid friendly places, but things were so well organized, they were never a problem. They actually offer a guided tour of San Francisco, this is strictly KOA, their tour bus, their guide, it was beyond excellent. A bit pricy, $79.00 per person, but well worth it.

Our rig is 43', we barely fit, this is a tight campground, not a lot of big rig sites, but worth the effort. The owners were excellent, I asked them to cut a few big limbs from close by trees, they did it without question. They serve excellent ice cream and have pizza available.

Date of Stay:

Gravel entire park, small, big back-in lots, clean. Close to downtown Morro Bay, 30 miles from Hearst Castle. Nice place; would certainly stay here again.

Assigned us to a site already occupied, finally got us into a site in the long term area next to a broken down trailer with a mean dog on a long chain. Could not reach sewer connection with two long hoses; the dump station was not in operation. Only 1 person on the desk so check-in service was very slow. Not really big rig friendly, most of the pull-through sites are going to require you to disconnect.

One of the nicest KOA's we have ever visited with very nice couple running the place. Lots of things in easy walking distance: Subway, Taco Bell, Burger King and a Wisconsin Cheese shop. Easy in/out close to I-94. Will return..

Very conveniently located to Alternative Resources, for those of you becoming SD residence. The owner is a great guy, helpful and friendly. There is a caveat though if you are traveling North or South on I-29, you have to make a U turn on a city street to come back to the RV park. Call ahead and the owner will tell you how to do it. We we are 43', he told us how to do it. We will return to this very nice campground.

Excellent campground, nice couple running the place. Had very large trees, nicely spaced no problem for a big rig. There is a Dairy Queen in easy walking distance. Easy on/off access to the Interstate. Would definitely stay here again.

Had to get to the camp site via a dirt road, lots of dust and ruts. The campground had lots of deep ruts and was very dusty, one of my basement doors popped open because of extreme ruts. Would not stay here again.

We stayed at this excellent RV park for 6 weeks, our monthly rate was $945. We have nothing but the highest regard for this excellent RV park. The grounds are in excellent shape, the owners were very accommodating. We met some wonderful fellow campers during our stay. The park is located close to all major CT E Coast attractions. Walmart is about 7 miles away. Don't miss Buttonwood Farms ice cream about 4 miles from the RV park.

Beautiful and well maintained. We actually only spent $14.00/night because of our senior pass discount, a really great deal. Not much for kids to do, but for us that was a plus. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this campground for 1 week. This is a WONDERFUL campground: no complaints at all. The only reason it does not get a 10 is because it is relatively isolated. That said, the campground is located 45 minutes from the Outer Banks, 45 Minutes to Virginia Beach and 45 minutes from Norfolk: lots to see and do in easy driving distance. They have special happenings monthly, dinners, bands, etc. so call ahead for their schedule. They have a Pizza making machine which was wonderful, large Pizza for $10.00. They were installing a pool during our stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will return when again we are in the area.
