Taylorsville Lake State Park Campground, Taylorsville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Most sites are shorter then what they say on the website. Can not put a camper and boat on most of the site. They want you to put your boat in boat parking which is way across the campground. If you have a expensive boat I wouldn't keep it over there! We camped at Taylorsville Lake State Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground is closed and was sold at a auction. Unknown if it is going to reopen but will update if I find out. We camped in a Motorhome.

Nice shaded campground. If you have a big camper or RV you might want to choose another campground. There VERY tight turns and sites are a pain to back in! We camped at My Old Kentucky Home State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Green River Lake State Park, Campbellsville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $28.00

Great lake view sites. But the older loop is cramped and can't fit a boat and camper in the site. They did update the sites and raise the prices. Have to pay for the WiFi. Over its a good campground, but recommend getting in the 100's camping spots. We camped at Green River Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
