Mountain Stream RV Park, Marion, North Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice Quiet RV Park, We stayed in Site #17; it included a nice deck, however, it was too small to fit my tow vehicle and there was no parking in the adjacent parking lot that fits 3 cars so I parked in front of the pay phone in the street. Not ideal but ok; it was better then parking down by the office. The Men's shower's are kind of quirky requiring you to pass through one shower to get to the other, kind of awkward. I believe there was an additional $3.00 per day fee for 50 amp. We camped at Mountain Stream RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Woods Valley Kampground, Valley Center, California

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Dirty restrooms, horrible smells. Tight & difficult maneuvering to get into sites. Dump site and pool are at the top of an unpaved, rut filled road. The one thing that was nice was the pond, but even that experience was ruined by unattended kids throwing rocks at the ducks. $3 per day charge for a dog. For What ? Extra revenue? Extra $$ for more than 4 people on a site . The list of negatives goes on. I wouldn't go back. We camped at Woods Valley Kampground in a Travel Trailer.

El Capitan State Beach, Goleta, California

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground although close to the freeway some of the sites can't fit the size trailer or motorhome that they claim to. The restrooms and showers were clean. No dump site is a negative but not a deal breaker. Clean with nice trails to explore. We would return again. We camped at El Capitan State Beach in a Travel Trailer.
