Fort Beale RV Park, Kingman, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean. Wish we had more time to stay and play in the pool! Manager was incredibly sweet, friendly, and very accommodating!! Great location, Drove up to the skywalk and location was perfect to hop right back on highway. Occasional train passing was hardly noticeable to us! We would come back. They were already cleaning sites with nice rake marks on the gravel to keep it pristine for the next guest! We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Welcome to the edge!!!! Loved this park, views over the top! Wanted the ocean experience so parking lot atmosphere suited us fine! Loved hearing fog horn and enjoyed watching surfers! Will come back again and again. Manager was sweet and very kind!!! We camped at Pillar Point Harbor RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pelican Point RV Park, Half Moon Bay, California

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Park view of golf course, and depending on site, ocean is what makes us want to come back! Some staff are nice; others lacking customer service skills! Way too many rules make it feel more like a military community. The views saved the rating from being total zero. We know now the difference in how much better it is to stay at places who truly care and appreciate your business. The sites all have a little grass so it gives it a less parking lot feel to it. Replace manager and find positive ways to tell rules, and this would someday be a destination oasis! The strict rules of check in/out are unreasonable given there were plenty of open spaces! A little flexibility will go a long way!!! We camped at Pelican Point RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
