Campground is older but it was clean, especially bathrooms. Our tent site was level and staff came by to ensure we had gotten set up okay. Fishing Pond looked in bad shape but Jack Tales were greatly enjoyed by the kids. Site has bike rentals and a paint your own pottery station in the store. The store had a good selection of products and the pool was sparkling clean. The waterslide was a huge draw even though it is a bit older.

Southlake RV Park

Unclean! The manager refused to allow the campers access to the bathrooms for 3 hours because he claimed he didn't have time to clean them. Park has 1 bathroom but has a capacity of 400 campers. The grounds are dirty and littered and have limited trash receptacles. Tent sites are wired to RV sites, so campers may have to drive 10 miles to purchase adaptors/converters. Office store has limited supplies. Lakeside tent sites have no water or electric and quite a bit of duck droppings. Location has laundry facilities but primitive appliances. The employees SPORADICALLY work in the office, so it may be hard to get any assistance. Travelers would be best advised to keep going and find a nice spot in Pigeon Forge.

Staff was super friendly and restrooms were immaculate. We had a spot close to the restrooms on the West side and they cleaned them 4 times in one day! Gave out free firewood for a donation to Girl Scouts. Had lots of family friendly nature events. Flat sites and other campers observed park rules. Highly recommend.
