Cozy Hills Campground, Bantam, Connecticut

Date of Stay: May, 2012 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

My husband and I really loved this friendly clean campground. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. They even let us in before they opened for season so we could make sure we would have an easy time getting in with our rig. They seem to have everything under control as we saw no overt drunkeness or rowdy behavior. There were children having a great time everywhere. I would definitely return to this great little gem. Pool was sparkling, activities plentiful. We camped at Cozy Hills Campground in a Motorhome.

As we were here during off season I can't attest to what it may be like at the height of tourist season but for relaxation, location and overall quality you can't beat this park. Very accommodating and helpful staff, great location, clean spacious shady site. convenient walk by trail to great beach. We camped at Adventure Bound Camping Resorts – Cape Cod in a Motorhome.

Bras D'Or Lakes Campground, Baddeck, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Even though our reservations were for 5 nights we only stayed 2. We were in a pull through which was on a hill and required quite a bit of manuevering to get into site and was quite hairy driving the motorcycle onto the site and back into the trailer over very rocky road. Our RV door looked out over our neighbors sewer pipe. Pool was rundown and the "beach" was 5 ft of rocky coast. The mosquitos were "ginormous" which prevented hanging out at night enjoying (good) view of lake. We camped at Bras D'Or Lakes Campground in a Motorhome.

My Brother's Place Campground, Houlton, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is an okay campground..not a whole lot in the way of entertainment. Boats looked a bit shabby...lots of red ants..good for a stopover before crossing border into Canada. Some sites need more leveling than others. Quiet, close to hwy. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Motorhome.

Ponderosa Pines Family Campground, Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This turned out to be a great campground. We made reservations for a pull through from the road and when we arrived it was not what we needed so the management promptly put us in a great spot which suited us perfectly. Wonderful spot to watch the tidal drop of the Bay of Fundy, clean swimming pool, shady spots with fire pits placed well away from rig, clean restrooms, laundry. VERY helpful staff, beautiful views. We camped at Ponderosa Pines Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Wakeda Campground, Hampton Falls, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Loved this campground! Stayed 1 night on way to Nova Scotia and promptly booked the following weekend for the trip home. Quiet, CLEAN, well manicured and very friendly staff. The pull thru site was very spacious and tarred. What a lovely respite from the hustle, bustle of nearby Hampton Beach (8 miles). We were pulling a 16' motorcycle trailer and could have fit a truck in our site as well without unhooking...Great campground. We camped at Wakeda Campground in a Motorhome.
