Westfield / Lake Erie KOA, Westfield, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Like it lot's with one exception...noise from the NY Thruway. If you are close to the back, the road noise can be disturbing at night...all night. The campground is very pretty, nice little nature walk for you and the dog, and there is a municipal park across the road right on Lake Erie. Very pretty view as you are pulling out. Aside from the noise, it is a great spot to pull off between Erie, PA and Buffalo. We camped at Westfield / Lake Erie KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Crawfordsville KOA, Crawfordsville, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Love the place, really like everyone who I've met there. It's a very nice campground, but it is pretty tight. We've stayed 4 times now and each time we have a slightly larger trailer than the last. At 40 feet we're getting too long. Lots of short turning radius intersections and low hanging branches. We camped at Crawfordsville KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Apache Flats RV Resort (Military FamCamp), Sierra Vista, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Outstanding comes to mind. Well designed, well maintained, so quiet and peaceful. The gal that runs the place has a great personality. She has many repeat visitors and they all seem to have a great time together. Lot's of ad hoc activities like card games, holiday partys, and local dinner trips. Best military park I have stayed in. I hear there are better but I have trouble attempting to visualize better. We camped at Apache Flats RV Resort (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.

Cedar Cove RV Park, Elephant Butte, New Mexico

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here three times now. It is easy to get to, well maintained, and the folks who run it are real nice. All the sites are clean, restrooms are immaculate, and plenty of room to walk the dog. The place is covered with gravel, so when it gets windy, as NM does, the dust is mitigated to some extent. If it is close to quitting time and we're near here, we stop. We camped at Cedar Cove RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
