High Falls State Park, Jackson, Georgia

Nice level pull-through sites with 50 amp. Our site had nice view to the woods. Big rigs able to navigate. Although no sewer, does have gray water areas throughout campground, which is helpful. Nice park to explore. We camped at High Falls State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lee State Park, Bishopville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is a pretty park with flat sites with partial shade. Bathhouses are older but clean. During our stay we were only one of four families. Near campsites bugs are norm for this time of year however once you leave the area bugs will get you! Definitely pack diet bug spray. This was a nice stop over on our way to Myrtle beach. Folks with horse would like the sites for them. The ranger was friendly and helpful. He did say during the weekends it was more crowded. We camped at Lee State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Mistletoe State Park, Appling, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We had a wonderful time at this park. We found a pull through site with limited views of the lake but was very private.Extra bonus it had grey water only dump at site. This was a big help. The bike/hike trails were good. The lake was not over run with boats even though it was Memorial Day. Shady sites were great in dealing with the heat. Would definitely visit this park again. We camped at Mistletoe State Park in a Travel Trailer.
