Rushmore Shadows RV Resort, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

I have read many of the comments and I just had to comment on the statements about "they seem to treat members better". This is my home park, purchased the membership, and I dread the check in as we r given a site that we don't fit or like. Then I get frustrated & must start the check in process all over again, & check sites that r available & we finally get a site we selected. As members, this is the way the check in should b-members find their own site, if not happy with the one the office assigned. I think some of the front office people do not have a clue about the sites. As for the park, it is one of the nicest parks in the area and close to all the attractions and shopping. With the exception of checking in. We love this park and the area. We camped at Rushmore Shadows RV Resort in a Truck Camper.

Stayed 1 night, which was OK. Park is old and not well maintained. Ladies bathroom was clean but men's was very dirty. Paid Passport America rate, which the book said $10 but was charged $15, and that was for 30 amp. We camped at Lazy Days RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Stage Stop Campground, Neosho, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Older park. Camp hosts are doing a good job keeping park mowed and the bathrooms clean. They have also spruced up the area with their own plants. Rate is Passport America. We camped at Stage Stop Campground in a Truck Camper.

Stayed in new area. Park area is nice. The building where bath and shower and laundry is new, but curtains or blinds need to be put on bathroom windows. Sanitizer or soap and paper towels dispenser is needed. Park is well located. We camped at Franklin's Big Country RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park), Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

After reading previous reviews, I was a little apprehensive about staying here, but for the price it was OK for an overnight. Facilities are old but the bathrooms were clean. Sites are dirt but pretty level. Offered cable TV and Wi-Fi was free but did not work well. Would stay here again. We camped at Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park) in a Truck Camper.

Niagara Lazy Lakes, Lockport, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

My husband and I found this park to be very nice. The facilities are well maintained and kept exceptionally clean. Additionally, the grounds were well kept. We stayed here as a ROD guest. We were fortunate to find one of the few pull through sites. We would have given this park a "10" if they had sewer available, paved roads, and remove the speed bumps. We camped at Niagara Lazy Lakes in a Fifth Wheel.

Country Bumpkins Campground and Cottages, Lincoln, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

My husband and I have been traveling all summer. This park is by far one of the best ones we have stayed at. The bathrooms are very clean. The park is very well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location for touring the White Mountains. I would have given the park a "10" if they had pull throughs. I would stay here again. We camped at Country Bumpkins Campground and Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Timothy Lake Campground North, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Upon arrival, no workers were available to check us in. Luckily a worker from Timothy Lake North was there and was able to assist us. We had reservations so that really surprised me that no one was available. My husband and I both used the bathrooms and found them to be dirty and unkept condition. We will not be using the showers! Sites were OK, but in need of yard care and tree trimming. Very disappointed! We camped at Timothy Lake Campground North in a Fifth Wheel.

Briarcliffe RV Resort, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is great. Great location, well kept, very friendly workers and the bathrooms were some of the cleanest that we have seen. The only thing that would make this a "10" would be to have pull thru sites. We were lucky because the site we had, we were able to drive through a vacant site to our site. Made parking our 5th wheel very easy. Would definitely return to Myrtle Beach and this RV Park. Coast to Coast member. Stayed 6 nights. We camped at Briarcliffe RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Skyline Ranch Resort, Front Royal, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

For Memorial Day weekend, we found it very disappointing that the sites were not maintained. Overgrown weeds in the rv sites, tent area needed mowing, which they mowed on Monday, when the majority of RVers were packing up to leave. Our neighbor who is a full time complained on Saturday so his area plus one other site was mowed on Sat. Didn't use the restrooms, but did use the laundry and it was not kept up very well; the pool's water looked "green" and cloudy. We camped at Skyline Ranch Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
