Segovia River Valley RV Park, Junction, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is a has-been park that does have full hookup but don't try to use the restrooms as they are pad locked. The sites are level, and it is easy on and off of I-10. OK for a quick overnight. We would stop here again if necessary. We camped at Segovia River Valley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park), Fort Stockton, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a tired, old park that is a barren site. It is close to town and restaurants. I asked about wi-fi and manager said it wasn't working. I would not stay here again. We camped at Road Runner RV Park (formerly Parkview Mobile Home & RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

NRA Whittington Center Campground, Raton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Remote and rustic park, but worth the drive. Two campgrounds. The east has showers and bathhouse. The west does not. But the west campground has beautiful scenery. We opted for that. The campground host was very friendly and accommodating. The roads and campsites are well maintained hardpacked dirt and rock. The west sites are generous and pull through. Good overnight or longer if you are interested in taking advantage of the multiple shooting ranges or just want a quiet place to kick back. We camped at NRA Whittington Center Campground in a Travel Trailer.
