Harris Beach State Park, Brookings, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful state park with a variety of camping facilities and activities. We used a full hook-up site which was set amidst trees which provided privacy. Some sites have ocean views. Beach access and trails are located close by and are absolutely beautiful. The staff was excellent and helpful. The park is being remodeled during the off-season and we look forward to staying again. This is our third visit to this state park. We camped at Harris Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Desert Palms Mobile Home & RV Park (Formally Bakersfield Palms RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: December, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent, newly built section for overnight visitors with concrete pads, picnic tables, palm trees, excellent utilities. It has very courteous staff. There is a nice pool and spa and other amenities. The only negatives would be the train and road noise which is why I rate this park as an 8 rather than a 10. We camped at Desert Palms Mobile Home & RV Park (Formally Bakersfield Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Washington DC / Capitol KOA, Millersville, Maryland

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Capitol KOA is a first class RV camp. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and it is close to Washington, DC. The park offers a shuttle into DC for $15. The pool had a lifeguard, the store was well equipped, and the ambassadors were very helpful leading us to our site and helping us to back in. One of the best parks we've stayed in anywhere. We camped at Washington DC / Capitol KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Rock Springs / Green River KOA, Rock Springs, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Convenient to the freeway but too much noise from trains and trucks. Not much other than gravel pads, not level and view of oil tanks. Weekend staff not too helpful but full-time staff much better. We camped at Rock Springs / Green River KOA in a Travel Trailer.
