Concho Pearl RV Estates, San Angelo, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

They asked to call a cell # 15 min before arriving, I got no answer, called the office again and she had someone call me. Entrance is a little tight but not awful. Then directions to office are not obvious. Paperwork for overnight was intrusive... Date of Birth??? Employer??? 3 pages long... obviously set up for long term rental. They Recommend surge protection on Elect. Park is clean, reasonably quiet (a little road noise). WIFI instruction sheet came with a gift bag of 3 mini bottles of water, a packet of tissues and some candies. The instructions included the comment "When it works, it works, when it doesn't it doesn't"... slow, but ok for email. Map of park on wall in office is not to scale, I followed the route and couldn't make the turn, but circled around took a different route and made it OK. As an overnite it's OK. We camped at Concho Pearl RV Estates in a Motorhome.

Vineyard RV Park, Vacaville, California

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Very pleasant experience. Office staff went out of their way to help as I needed a long pull through. Site was actually 3 end to end sites to accommodate me. I needed propane (it was a bit over priced) but they got me filled even though I was outside propane service hours. We camped at Vineyard RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ambassador RV Resort, Caldwell, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. I had a 3 day reserved and needed to add a day earlier, called and they were very accommodating, but I had to spend 1 nite then move for the balance. Had a low voltage shut down, but called and they had maintenance there within 10 minutes and changed the outlet. The campground is convenient to shopping and the interstate but far enough that it is quiet. It appears to have a large number of long term rentals but all are nicely maintained. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Maumelle COE, Little Rock, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely gorgeous park. Mature trees, wide open spaces, mostly back ins. A shame because if the hookups had been on the other side we would have had front windshield view of the Arkansas river immediately (30 feet) behind our site. We had a concrete pad with gravel patio area, most others were asphalt and grass. Only reason I give a 9 is no sewer at site. We camped at Maumelle COE in a Motorhome.

October Bend RV Park, Lake City, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

The road in is dirt and very dusty. We may as well have been in the I-75 rest stop, as we were less than 100 ft from the interstate, very noisy. Grassy sites, all pull-through. Water is not recommended as is not great quality. Sites are barely level (we had 1 wheel off the ground to get level). Only good for an overnight if you don't have any other choices. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We paid the Passport rate. We camped at October Bend RV Park in a Motorhome.
