Very convenient and "safe" location. The park is mainly mobile homes with an area designated for RVs. Excellent pool facility. Excellent WiFi in lobby area. Many snowbirds were leaving for the summer.

Overnight stay exceeded our expectations. We were placed in a spot that backed up to a wall of a large empty field. The local undesirable population that hung out there was a distraction, but we had no problems with them. If not for that, I would have rated this park a 9. The park was very clean. The staff very friendly. It did get windy at times, which seems common for the area.

The biggest downside to the Bidwell Canyon campground is that the reservations are not site specific. They are first come first served. For larger rigs that limits the number of spaces significantly when travelling in a group. Upon calling, we informed the park we needed sites together for our group. They indicated they would mark our reservations as such and to just park a car on the site we wanted to save. On this particular stay, instead of quieting down noisy campers and speeding cars, the park police chose to make us move our car from the saved spot. Then, they gave away the spot closest to us to another camper. For the price being charged, system needs to be changed to allow site specific reservations. In addition, fire ring is way to close to the allowed trailer area. Not enough room to set chairs around the fire ring. Not walking distance to the water due to drought. No AT&T reception. No TV reception.

The park is overpriced. We were disappointed in that for what we paid we expected a higher level park. The hookups at the site we were in were awkwardly placed so that the truck would not clear the road regardless of parking in front or back. Some people parked their vehicles right on the narrow park road making it difficult to navigate. One site obviously did not have a restriction on the number of people occupying it. It seemed like someone was operating a day care out of their trailer and kids blocking the road playing. This park is better suited for very young families. There were way too many workers out and about constantly spraying chemicals on sites and tending to the grass. Lawnmowers were very noisy.

Fantastic location right in the park. Walk to nearby shuttles. We were right under the "Watchman" mountain - great views. Spaces were tight, but manageable. No water or sewer at site. This was a shared site with 6 total campers, 3 on each side of the shared fire ring and 6 picnic tables. It worked out fine, met people from all over the planet. Recommend a site along the river if available. Book very early, as this is a very popular park.

This campground is a model for how other campgrounds should be designed and operated. Terraced area provided superb views of Lake Powell, the surrounding mesas and buttes. Very clean, safe park. Spacious sites with tables and fire rings. The peace and quiet of the park wishes it was closer to home for more frequent visits. We saw jack rabbits, a road runner and so many birds.

Fantastic park, excellent location. Swimming pool was a clean comfortable oasis. Spots on the back and side back up to green area. River is not visible. We traveled to Scottsdale for Spring Training and found it very easy to get there in around 15 to 20 minutes. Would return here again. Excellent WiFi in the lobby and free hard wired computer with printer.

What a find! Excellent campground with a very open feeling and nearby mountains. The sunsets were spectacular. Great hiking trails in the park. Spacious sites with hookups. No long term folks here. You would never know there were stores like Walmart nearby. No traffic noise. Lots of wildlife in the area. Would definitely return.

Overall, value was very good for the location of the park. The sites near the front were suggested to us by the park as the quietest. Unfortunately they were right on top of each with very odd angles. Rather difficult to back in and we heard neighbors dogs barking, conversations and folks coming and going. We stayed 3 nights and visited nearby Sedona, Flagstaff, Jerome and Winslow. The higher freeway speed limits made this a very good central point for exploring the area. Due to the location alone, I'd stay there again. Wifi was poor at best as most RV parks are. Casino access convenient by shuttle. Pool was clean. Laundry facilities were heavily used and machines needed owner intervention to refill cards or reset machines. The lobby wifi was a little better than at the site. A free computer in the lobby for public use was helpful, as it was hard wired. Pool was very clean. Nice shady area with tables and chairs under the office was a nice shelter while waiting for laundry or to read a book. Do not recommend sites near the office. Also note, because of the tightness of the spaces, park requires you to sign a responsibility statement if you run into their stuff.

Too many parks with the same or similar name made it difficult to locate this park. The grounds themselves were very nice. The pool was clean and had nice surroundings. The reservation process was a challenge to get a spot, even months ahead of time, so book early.

Good Sams all 10 ratings are overdone. Park is older and appears to have some long term tenants. Not so convenient to run to Laughlin. Shade was a positive and pool was clean. Office closed by 2:00. Low hanging limbs required extra caution. Website is well done!

Seems like there are long term local workers that utilize this park, which didn't bother us. The location next to the highway was great. Good overnight stop for travelling down 95. Friendly staff. Clean facility. No shade.

Very convenient, although sites were closer than we'd prefer. Nice fire pit. Good paved road, convenient restroom. Not well supervised, as one day, these very weird couple appeared out of no where and were very hyper. They quickly cooked their dinner and were scanning all around them, thank goodness they left after that. Otherwise park was ok. Not the beach front, but in the older, upper area. Adequate for a couple nights. Might return, if nothing better found.

Great place. Nice friendly staff. Spacious roads and sites. Easy to find. Quiet. Wifi is excellent. No AT&T which didn't matter. Would return here again. Cute gift shop on premises.

The owner was very apologetic about nearly everything. The site required some creative leveling, but was OK for overnight. The water was awful, rust-smelling and tasting. The location was good. Not in Ocean Shores as might be perceived. Ok for an overnight stay. Probably would not return to this area. The route on the way out there passed through towns that were pretty blighted overall. The fact that I was able to get in with only one days notice was a plus.
