Very convenient, although sites were closer than we'd prefer. Nice fire pit. Good paved road, convenient restroom. Not well supervised, as one day, these very weird couple appeared out of no where and were very hyper. They quickly cooked their dinner and were scanning all around them, thank goodness they left after that. Otherwise park was ok. Not the beach front, but in the older, upper area. Adequate for a couple nights. Might return, if nothing better found.

Great place. Nice friendly staff. Spacious roads and sites. Easy to find. Quiet. Wifi is excellent. No AT&T which didn't matter. Would return here again. Cute gift shop on premises.

The owner was very apologetic about nearly everything. The site required some creative leveling, but was OK for overnight. The water was awful, rust-smelling and tasting. The location was good. Not in Ocean Shores as might be perceived. Ok for an overnight stay. Probably would not return to this area. The route on the way out there passed through towns that were pretty blighted overall. The fact that I was able to get in with only one days notice was a plus.

Very nice quiet campground. Convenient for visiting British Columbia. The nearby town of Lynden is very convenient and charming. This park is really not near Bellingham though, which is fine, but the name can be deceiving. It is actually a godsend that it is not near Bellingham, given that its much quieter in Lynden. Clean campground and very green, given the North West rainfalls. Definitely check out the ice cream shop in nearby Lynden. Its the best. Would return here again.

Surely the convenient location of this campground gives it high marks. I would have rated it higher, except for the following experience. The reservation staff failed to respond to voice mail, email, and website inquiry as to the availability of a site with several days notice. The otherwise convenient air compressor actually was broken and I didn't notice until it removed ten pounds of air from my already low tire. Finally, the areas between sites were fairly muddy where you exit and enter a vehicle. Site required some creative leveling. Wi-Fi was intermittent and non-responsive.

Other than tight navigation, this park "rocks". Perfect location for before, after, and during a cruise out of Seattle. An oasis within the city. It feels like you are out in the country. Clean, efficient laundry room. Friendly staff. Recommendation for cruise town car via Puget Sound Limo was spot on. Just moved the fifth wheel to their storage area and we left on the cruise with no worries. Nice pond with ducks all around. Quiet campground with all amenities nearby. Some construction on road leading to and from park, but not at all obstructive. Would definitely come back here again.

After looking at other parks in the area, we settled here, and it was good for an overnight, even though it was priced at the higher end. Although the staff were not very outgoing we didn't find them intrusive. One of the other RV parks was way overrated and too many permanent residents; this KOA felt much more comfortable. Cable was sketchy and stations were limited. No overnight noise that impacted us. Sites were level, we didn't even have to unhook.

One of the nicest parks we've been to, including many private parks. Spacious, level site with decent privacy. Close to beach with a moderate walk down a nice trail. Beautiful blow hole view on the beach in the sandy area. Friendly staff. Firewood available. And cable TV to boot, with several stations to choose from. Would return here again in a heartbeat.

What a gem! One of the nicest State Parks we have stayed at so far in our travels. Very spacious sites, with privacy, water, and electricity. Back in sites accommodated our 31 footer just fine. Friendly hosts and firewood was only $6 for a wheelbarrow full - a treat. They also provided a fire starter for $1 which worked fine. 4 Waterfalls were easy hikes for us, and we are not hikers. Went to South Falls, North Falls, Upper North falls, and Winter Falls. Definitely would return here again.

WiFi is great. Location is perfect. Nice easy drive to Johnston Observatory and Mt St Helen's monument. No cable at our site, which was fine. Beautiful valley view from the terraced hill. Friendly staff at the office. Convenient dump station. Although spaces are tight, its not crowded and there are some trees between sites. Great for an overnight stop, not a destination though.

By far one of the most beautiful RV Parks we have stayed at on our journeys. It's apparent the owners have put a lot of money into this RV Park. The only drawback was the WiFi. It was slow to non-existent. Shuttle to the casino was very convenient. Sign up for the players club and get a RV Park and fuel discount. Group fire pit was fun, we met other travelers by the fire and shared stories. Would return again here in a heartbeat.

Easy access to I-5, roomy sites. Good electric and water. Friendly owners. Young park, time needed for shade trees to mature. Convenient overnight stop for us, not a destination. Very clean.

Definitely one of the most quiet campgrounds we have been to. Adequate campsite in "North Whale" section. Huge downside for us was the proximity to the horse stables, along with the undesirable odor from stables. Big PLUS is the free shuttle to Santa Cruz. We saved in gas, parking and driving. Another added perk is the free wood at the campfires in the comfort station. Children's activities were nil during this stay, which was a let down, as was the price of the horseback rides for a child - $90. Its quite a hike to the beach, we drove instead. Nearby beach was awesome and uncrowded.

Pleasant campground in an incredible setting. Coming in on Hwy 88 from the West, it's not the first "Sorensens" venue. Each driver in our party made the same mistake. It's the second "Sorensens". At first we thought we made a mistake booking this campground. Quite the opposite! The beautiful trees and sounds from the Carson River made this an unforgettable journey. Sites 13 and 14 are the largest. Our 31 foot 5th wheel fit just fine in 14. The road is in need of some smoothing out. Beware that road has no turnaround. The campground manager is friendly and helpful. The cafe and store convenient. Would return here again.

Highway 168 is a steep ascent and descent to reach the park. During recent 100+ degree weather, several cars overheated on the way up and brakes smoked on the way down. The lake was at 66%, but still reachable by most vehicles for recreation. On Saturday night, two local groups off Road 2 who had been partying all day were intoxicated and rude, making this uncomfortable for family outing. The rest of the time and locations were family friendly. Very sandy beaches. Our site had the picnic table and bbq up on a hill above the trailer, which was cumbersome. Traffic and noise on the campsite road right behind our site was annoying, and 15 mph speed limit was not enforced. Water was pleasant, clean and refreshing. Overall an adequate campground, with friendly staff and good shade. Seems like a lot of people were in and out of campsites in this mountain setting.
