Grape Creek RV Park Campground and Cabins, Westcliffe, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

On Monday morning because of a forest fire we were told to evacuate. We loaded up a few things in the trailer and headed out. This local park gate was open, I assumed they were still open for business and we pulled in. The gate was open to let campers leave that morning. They were closing for the season. She being gracious and almost empty provided us a space. After seeing their page on RV Parks reviews I see we were charged an inflated rate. It's a beautiful well maintained park with level pads and each has its own grass area. The facilities are spacious and clean. The view of our awesome mountains is incredible. We camped at Grape Creek RV Park Campground and Cabins in a Travel Trailer.

Manor RV Park, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

The folks running this park are very nice and cordial. I was escorted to my level site. Everything worked as well as the wi-fi. I thought them to be high priced. For that money I would expect my pad to be at least swept. I had to sign a form that said if I smoked legal pot on their property they would evict me. That sucks. I won't be back to this park again when I return to Estes Park for more great fly fishing. We camped at Manor RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Holiday RV Park, North Platte, Nebraska

I had a level (didn't have to unhook level) gravel site. Friendly check in. WiFi works great. A fair amount of standing water at some sites and sections of the drives. This is my 1st visit to this park. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Greeley RV Park and Campground, Greeley, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Liked the owners. Fun group. 95% of the spaces are rented to field workers. They leave early with their beefed up Dodges. Vroom vroom before 5 am They seem to keep most at the far end but not all. Ground maintenance around the park is lacking. Wifi is off and on. My site was level. We camped at Greeley RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Great Sand Dunes Oasis RV Park, Mosca, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The park itself is no resort by any means. However the sites are level, the grounds clean, and the facilities are close to all sites. Gas, a small grocery store and restaurant on site. Good food and PIES. Wonderful pies. Veterans get a discount. Friendly staff throughout. Almost shouting distance to the Sand Dunes. Each site is roomy. We camped at Great Sand Dunes Oasis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Fishing Bridge Campground (NPS Campground), Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

A very simple park. Nothing fancy, but everything works. Friendly staff and above all, you are inside Yellowstone National Park. Spaces were available in June, but make your reservations in advance. I goofed and booked a day to many in error and they gave me a funded for that day. Very accommodating folks. We camped at Fishing Bridge Campground (NPS Campground) in a Motorhome.

River's Edge RV & Cabins Resort, Casper, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I come to Casper annually to fly fish on the N Platte. I've stayed at each of the RV parks in this area. Lacking in mature trees this park is still by far the best. Yes, there are many semi permanent spaces. They all come here because there is a lack of housing. The staff is friendly. A lot of places to walk your dogs. The sites are level and clean. We camped at River's Edge RV & Cabins Resort in a Motorhome.

Crazy Horse RV Campground, Kanab, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Nice and clean older park with level sites. New friendly management was very helpful. Shower works well in an older building. Not many permanents but easily identified by older units. Wi-Fi recently upgraded and works well. No dog run. No recycling. We would stay here again should we come back this way. The area is awesome. We camped at Crazy Horse RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Priest Gulch Campground & RV Park, Dolores, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Easy well marked access from the main road. Well maintained gravel roads with level gravel sites located adjacent to the Dolores River in the beautiful San Juan Mountains. Utilities are conveniently located and worked properly. The sites are all under trees with many having quality grass between. Quiet setting with fishing, hiking in the area. This is one of the finest RV park we have had the pleasure to stay in. No cell phone coverage but the Wi-Fi worked kind of great, satellite TV worked fine. Free fire wood with a fire ring at each site. RV camping the way it should be! Pet friendly. It’s the totality of the camping experience with mountain setting, spectacular views, sounds of the river and quiet setting, friendly and helpful staff and clean facilities. We will be back!! We camped at Priest Gulch Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cody KOA, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

Overpriced, dirty, wi-fi sometimes, welcome staff not friendly but not unfriendly. I didn't feel they were happy to see me. My site was just like the premium sites. My site is muddy covered with trash all over to include cigarette butts, bottle caps, dog excrement on the corner. I will not come back to this park. And they have the audacity to charge a resort fee. There's no grass at almost all the sites. A resort fee, give me a break. We camped at Cody KOA in a Travel Trailer.
